Some modern indies are great as well like Dusk or Amid Evil. I had a lot of fun with DOOM Eternal, but it has some flaws when it comes to pacing. Just ignore the story and it's a 9/10 game.
>>728964961Darksider 1 and 2 are fun hack and slash games with some good dungeons, but each one has its own flavor of jank you're gonna have to fight through. 3 is a shitty soulslike with a garbage map, and Genesis is fine but is more of a twin-stick shooter.
Talk me out of it bros. I have enough backlog but I've never played these despite owning an Xbox 360

>>728965545Played all of them, if I had to remove one I'd say remove GTA4 but it's still an alright game. The rest are great, but why don't you buy the Bioshock Collection (just a couple bucks more) instead of just the first game? 2 and Infinite were still solid games don't listen to the naysayers here who say they aren't.

>>728969743Not really, no. You press and hold a button to blend in with crowds of people, or hide by breaking line-of-sight.If you're looking for something like Dishonored, Thief, or Metal Gear Solid I would keep looking.

>>728967862Sorry can't help you with that. On linux, I can simply turn on gamescope and the controller with steam input works out of the box. You could just map your keyboard and mouse directly with AntiMicroX but that's extra jank and not desirable.

Nioh was 90% off, that was an instant grab for me. Might get For Honor and GR Breakpoint because the former is dirt cheap and I've heard good things about it and the latter to play with friends who already own it.
>>728970141>Normalfags love stealth.Thats why entire genre is dead i guess. Actual stealth titles arent even close to these slop games with "stealth" elements where AI is insanely braindead.

>>728970364>>728969316>>728970364>>728970427Absolum FEELS very good in terms of the beat-em-up aspects especially early on, but because it's a Roguelite the optimal builds cause late-game runs to be an absolute mess of elemental effects and ability procs if you want to deal with certain rooms/bosses; good luck if you went with a Throw-based build since all bosses and many of the last area's enemies are ungrabbable. If you like SoR4's roguelite Survival mode it's like that with actual linear level progression instead of totally random rooms, but as a pure beat-em-up you'll find better (including SoR4 itself). I hit credits on it, had my fun, but ultimately instead of going back for completion I just wanted to play Shadow Over Mystara again (since it very clearly pulls some inspiration from Capcom D&D).
>>728969743Assassin's creed games are some of the most dogshit games when in comes to gameplay. I'm not even talking about the new ones, this is a consistent problem with them since AC1 and AC2. They have awkward unresponsive movement, barebones stealth and underwhelming combat. Later on ubisoft introduce their signature open world with nothing to do in it formula to make them even worse. Top it off with some of the worst writing in most of them past the first 2 and you've got one of the shittiest overhyped franchises out there. Fortunately AC nigger in japan flopped so hard it sent ubishit bankrupt, so we won't be seeing anymore of that stinking pile of shit series.
I bought only this on Steamthe rest (~30games) I got on GOG, they are mostly old RPGs
>>728970752Thanks for the response. I played the shit out of SoRIV and was curious about this one.>>728970483Dragon's Crown wasn't my jam. I like SoR, classic Double Dragon, the old TMNT games, Golden Axe, etc

>>728970752Would you recommend the Capcom Beat Em Up bundle?
Is The Long Dark: Tales from the Far Territory DLC worth 6 bux?I haven't played the main game itself since 2019.
>>728970807>it sent ubishit bankruptUbisoft is too big and too entrenched into the videogame industry and videogame culture to fail. Either the Canadian goverment, the Chinese or gamers themselves via crowdfunding will bail them. Ubisoft dissapearing is as unfeasible as Nintendo going bankrupt.
>>728970993No Capcom port is superior to just plain old emulation, they don't even try. And even the ones with multiplayer are deader than fightcade.
>>728964282I like arcade games and these both look fun. Gonna grab 'em. I recommend Assault Android Cactus and Geometry Wars 3. Also anything by Cave.
>>728971018>Either the Canadian goverment, the Chinese or gamers themselves via crowdfundingim waiting for this to happen to see if its true
>>728970612>>728970720I've already played both of them. This is my 2nd playthrough of the 1st one.
>>728970993You can play those same games on steam's retroarch and remote play together with your friends online. I don't bash modern ports just for the sake of it but capcom did a poor job with these and offer nothing free can't beat.
>>728964282Destructure
>>728970993All the games on it are excellent but if you have a good PC you can play them all on Fightcade. Beat-em-up Bundle is really only worth it if you want some small options to tweak and the art gallery; Chronicles of Mystara is similar but it does have more going on in the wrapping around the emulated games.>>728971071Fighting Collection 2 was worth it IMO especially after they let you turn A3 Upper into the first non-handheld version of A3 MAX.
>>728971309You should get better taste then
>>728971351>Fighting Collection 2 was worth it IMO especially after they let you turn A3 Upper into the first non-handheld version of A3 MAX.It's absolutely not and you're only hurting video games by buying these shitty collections. Capcom has plenty of money, it's asinine their ports are so bad when even Square let's Taito subcontract M2. Don't buy shitty ports, force them to use a vendor who specializes in them and use that as an advertising point. It won't change until people stop buying them.

>>728971553Capcom used to outsource their collections and they sucked ass so they moved internally. I agree that most of their collections aren't worth it because they lack features other collections do, but CFC2 has the extra A3 characters, the ability to use the premade CACs from Project Justice's home port, 4-player lobbies for Power Stone 2, etc. It's a genuinely decent value proposition if you have someone to play with.>>728971656The only Mega Man collection that's better than emulation outright is probably Battle Network for the online PvP but Classic LC2 is easier for 9 & 10 than emulating the Wiiware versions with the DLC.
>>728969129>castle crashersI played that shit when it came out like 100 years ago like everyone else. Did internet foids resurrect it because of le heckin cute cartoon characters or what?

Thoughts on Lords of the Fallen remake? Is it good?
>>728971928>Capcom used to outsource their collectionsThere is more than one company that does ports. They chose the cheapest one. And then they did it in house and threatened their fans that they'd kill IPs of they didn't buy them. Then killed those IPs anyways. Furthermore, it's gunna get a lot worse now that Itsuno is gone, as he was the sole person at the company saying 60fps is minimum, so no more uncapped PC ports of modern games, you can bet that's gunna stop.

>>728972349It was earlier, wasn't it?
>>728972208If they brought on M2 that'd be based I agree if only because they'd probably make a semi-sequel just because like they did with Haunted Castle Revisited or some of their SEGA ports, but regardless of who what I really want is a port of the console-exclusive adventure modes in Rival Schools games they kept cutting from western releases due to the amount of text needed for localization.

>>728972229Nigger, I am telling you from experience DO NOT BUY THESE PORTS, they are bad. I love mega man. I have hundreds if not thousands of hours in mega man games. Just emulate the old games. If you want to support classic style capcom releases PLEASE buy mega man 11, PLEASE buy GnG Resurrection. All these ports do is tell Capcom its okay to be lazy and predatory. Furthermore, Capcom is holding so many good arcade IPs hostage like Giga Wing, Mars Matrix, Dimahoo, Progear, 19XX, etc. and we will never get a real decent port of them if they think this shit is okay.
>>728972571>Buy MM11 & GnGR>Dimahoo mentionedBased and reasonable.>He has X DiVEI do too, I'm told you can fiddle with the controls enough to make it feel like a real X game.

>>728971467bready good anon. very similar to mine

Is Nu-Tomb Raider trilogy worth it?

>>728964139Is this fucking game ever getting any cheaper? Also is the KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE worth $50? I never played kingdom hearts but everyone talks it up.
>>728973760Just get 1 + 2 and pretend the other games don't exist.
>>728973484They're decent if you want a cinematic semi-open world adventure. If you're burnt out on that kind of game, avoid
>>728973760ditto, 1+2 bundle contains the good ones, you could play the rest of the series if it hooks you
>>728973836too expenive
Any good puzzle games in the line of TIS-100?
>>728973836Why so many people have Eternal Strands on their wishlists / cars? It was one of those easily miss-able demos on the Steam fest and I personally found said demo extremely unpolished and boring.Did an e-celeb make a video shilling it or something?
>>728969203Are you doing a different song every time?
Are State of Decay 1 & 2 worth $3.99 and $5.99 respectively? These two games have been sitting in my wishlist for years.
>>728973909They are dirty cheap but i kinda hate cinematic games
>>728964139I bought Outer Wilds on a whim. It's nothing like I expected and also really good. That's it.
which, if any, asscreed games are worth playing? last one i played was 2 on the 360.
>>728973887>>728973959The problem is that each Kingdom Hearts pack is $25. If I got two then it's $50 when I can get all three bundled for the same price.
>>728974610Buckle up, its gets nuts
What should I add?
>>728974645Black flags
>>728974731no lol
>>728973836Plenty of games that do what Avowed does better for cheaper. Eternal Strands is worth that price easily, just know that the final boss is kinda disappointing so you temper your expectations.>>728974313I haven't seen anything on it, maybe it was a "might be cool on sale" game for a ton of people and now it's 70% off. I played it when it came out and it's a genuinely nice game with a pretty fun combat system that does giant bosses better than most games (freezing their foot to the ground and then boosting yourself into the air with gravity powers so you can start climbing from their back doesn't get old). Also Casmyn is a cute.
>>728974672you could splurge and just get the entire collection if it puts your mind at easethe first bundle of 4 games and 2 movies could easily last you 200+ hours, so it's really up to you
>>728974610Enjoy the kino, the DLC is also quite good. There are also mods, though they don't rise to the same level, you might find them entertaining after beating everything else.
>>728974714The other TENGO Project games (Wild Guns Reloaded and Shadow of the Ninja Reborn) are just as good as Reshrined and Return of the Warriors if you don't have those yet. Final Vendetta is great, pick up Fight N Rage if you don't have that yet. Honestly knowing what shmups and beat-em-ups you already have would make this easier.
Onirism.the amount of stuff in this game is absurd for $9
>>728974979So I learned Square Enix always has record sales every year in November.
Yeah, I know it's dirt cheap. But is it worth my time?
>>728974104Anything Zachtronics. Look at Shenzhen
Detective game chads please dog up some hidden gems for me, more games similar to Golden Idol
>>728975113Wild Guns isn't on sale but Ninja Reborn sounds good. Fight N Rage has been on sale for a lot cheaper so I don't mind waiting for it.Also, I don't know how to show you all my shmups and bmups since I have about 50 of each, but here are my currently installed beat 'em ups.
>>728975462heh
>>728975598No way, there are way better modern p&c to play instead.
>>728976067>Also, I don't know how to show you all my shmups and bmupssearch your library by store tag, make a dynamic list, then you can see them all in grid view.btw do you have Streets of Fury Ex?
Should I bite the bullet and get baba is you? I've never seen it go this cheap before
>>728964139I got this from the sale, is there anything I should know before playing it? Is there an order or something for the parts?
>>728976636Do you have an IQ above 120?
>>728976636Yeah, but be aware that even if you like sokoban/fucked up puzzle games you might hit a wall and drop the game. I had a fine two hours and then went "fuck me that's a lot of puzzles" and if you're cool with that then pull the trigger. Had the same experience with Isles of Sea and Sky. I don't like sokoban.
>>728973386>redheadedbrb buying asap
>>728976067If you want a good co-op focused beat-em-up then Shredder's Revenge is great for that even if the combat itself isn't super deep (though a single solo playthrough is worthwhile). Dawn of the Monsters is a really nice variant of the genre that takes advantage of the appeal of kaiju and it's on a good sale, and Buccaneers Shipshape is really simple in a good way that gets the basics down right. Other decent titles if you want more are Vengeance Hunters and Maiden Cops. Jitsu Squad is also a good time but not on sale (though $10 for it is worth it). Not sure if there's a sale but Streets of Fury EX is the first game from the SoR4 & Absolum dev team though it's more charming than anything with its insane combos and Mortal Kombat-style live action sprites.A bit out of left field as well but The Making of Karateka is a good little history lesson with a bunch of original versions/ports AND a pretty good remake of Karateka.>Magenta HorizonAbsolutely based. Check out Aztez, Decline's Drops, Aces Wild & Super Crush KO for other good 2D Action games. Gravity Circuit is also a great beat-em-up flavored Mega Man-style game.As for shmups I'd recommend that aren't just ports of games you can play on MAME:>Devil Blade Reboot>Night Striker GEAR>DariusBurst>Cycle Chaser H-5 (same dev made a Alien Solider-like that's my 2025 GOTY)>Angel at Dusk>Rogue Flight>Lilac 0>ZeroRangerI'm sure I could think of more for both genres but that should be plenty.
>>728977273Not that anon and not even interested in shmups but thank you for putting in effort.

>Game has the generic epilepsy warning all games have>think nothing of it>20 minutes in the entire screen is rapidly strobeing colors and I'm getting a headachehttps://store.steampowered.com/app/2486730/ART_IS_RIFLE/I don't think I have epilepsy but it didn't make me feel great, the game is otherwise cool though.
>>728976465My beat 'em ups list includes dumb stuff like Arkham Asylum and Brutal Legend that I got in bundles and don't even like so there's not much point in screenshotting those.I do not have Streets of Fury EX but I've added it to my cart.>>728977273I'll definitely check out everything you've listed (I've already added them to MyMind) but lately I've been in an arcade mood so I'll prioritize anything that can be completed in about an hour and is replayable.>(same dev made a Alien Solider-like that's my 2025 GOTY)Now that sounds like something I could really get into. Disaster Arms right?
is there anything like satisfactory or shapez but more level based? like>here create this system to make this thing with these given parts and you get a gradeand when you're done you move onto the next level
I'll ask again:anything good from the seventh gen and before on sale? Usually you can pick those up for a couple bucks
Really indecisive on whether to get Dread Delusion or not. Everyone agrees the combat is really bad, but the world looks interesting.
>>728978304This has like the aesthetic of Rez's Trance Mission and the soundscape of Ape Out but the actual gameplay seems like a bit of a mess; there's some bullet dodging while it's trying to be similar to something like Antichamber.>>728978723>Disaster Arms right?Yeah. I put serious time into getting a 1CC on the middle difficulty earlier this year and it's worth it. The weapons are well balanced against each other, the bosses are all distinct and mostly fun to fight, the bomb-esque systems are really smartly implemented, and the game does something with its Scoring system near the end that's super clever.
>>728978768Zachtronics games are mostly like that. Infinifactory or Opus Magnum would be ones to look at.>>728978840Killer7, Marlow Briggs, Binary Domain, Dark Messiah, Guilty Gear Overture, Shatter, Sleeping Dogs.
>>728978304Jesus, that's less of an epilepsy warning and more of an epilepsy guarantee.
Not home, but only have 3 things, is the delux edition worth it or nah
>>728979560I am not epileptic and I turned it off, I don't want to give myself epilepsy (can you do that?)
Already posted this in the other thread but eliminated a few games after watching some gameplay, what should I buy budget $50-$80?> Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition $25 (or Pandora's Box for $35)> RDR2 $20 (keep in mind got it when it first came out but got bored after a few hours but willing to give it another try?)> Dead Space Remake $9> Crossworlds $48> Stellar Blade $48> KH 1.5+2.5 $25> Alice Madness Returns $2.5> GTA5 $15> House Flipper $2.5> Ascent $7.5 (saw it for cheaper on key sites tho?)> Cyberpunk Ultimate $40> Katana Zero $9> Deadzone Rogue $17.5> No Rest for the Wicket $28> Liar's Bar $3.5
>>728979692Pretty sure it's a physical thing that's triggered so you can like, give yourself epilepsy by getting a nasty concussion or losing the genetic lottery as you age but not from just going to too many raves.
>>728976067NTA but how's Magenta Horizon? It's the only one you have that I don't.
discounts that are actually impressive? dead island 2 for $5 bucks for instance is a no brainer
Hopefully max payne actually works outta the box
>>728976067When the fuck is Rotwood going to be finished. I feel like I bought it years ago and it's still not done.
Armored Core or MH Wilds? which one is more fun?
which pathfinder game to get if I'm new to the series?
>>728976067How is Wendigo Blue?
>>728980480wonder why I can't find max payne 1 in steam
>>728980716ACVI, Wilds is one of the weakest MonHuns due to awful performance and the open world being basically just padding. If you want an MH on Steam, World + Iceborne or Rise + Sunbreak are probably cheaper for more content and better performance.
>>728965545bioshock remastered has vastly inferior water effects in a game ABOUT water. bioshock came out in 2007, for reference. get it only if it has the original you can install cause the remastered as a bunch of other visual fuckups. i guess it has more seaweed? which while helping sell the illusion more in current day isnt worth the tradeoff unless you are really really unobservant of other details
>>728979825The start of RDR2 when you're in the snow and then the first camp after that are the slowest parts of the game IMO since it's on rails. It does open up a lot after that, though there will always be elements of that throughout the game. Particularly I found it annoying how I could manage to get a perfect pelt, then a mission would be forced so I couldn't sell it, then it would end up getting despawned somehow. Or if you die during a mission, the game reverts your weapons to the "intended" loadout which is lame.Anyway, I wanted to drop it during the first hour but I ended up playing through chapter 6 and enjoying it a lot, though I skipped the epilogues. It's a good buy for $20.
>>728980825Thanks, i already have World and Rise with their DLC's though, so i guess i'll just play those when i get the itch.
>>728981270Those will be plenty to hold you over until Wilds gets its own expansion and performance fixes (official or otherwise). You could even emulate a bunch of the older games (GU, 3U, FU or maybe P3rd for vibes depending on what you want) or try the Stories games if need be.
>>728965641Meteor World Actor: Badge & Dagger is the sequel and you should play 1st game, which isn't on steam, before that.Resonnance of Fate has really good gameplay and atmosphere. The plot isn't bad but it's kinda just thereIf you liked Danganronpa 1, you most likely will like 2You can play Chaos;Child first but it's probably better to play Chaos;Head Noah wi\th restoring patch beforeGhostrunner is goodG string is good
>>728980407It's really good, I paid €6.60 for it in a bundle with Schism, Picayune Dreams and Novus Orbis and Magenta Horizon alone is worth more than that.>>728980570Klei has a lot on ongoing projects please understand. They are slowing their update cadence so they can have more content per update (the last one added like 2-3 time the amount of minibosses and reworked the talent system) so I'm not sure. Since they announced a new game and Rotwood doesn't seem to be selling super well (at least I've not heard anyone discussing it in any capacity to suggest that) I reckon it'll be 1.0 next year.>>728980783It's alright, stage design is samey/boring early on and it's still missing a lot of content, the variety between characters is good and combos are fun though. I don't know if I'd recommend it since it's Early Access unless you play it with someone else, since playing with friends automatically makes games more fun OR you enjoyed Valdis Story and trust the devs to finish it properly.

>>728982179I've done the same before. Just letting like 3+ hours slip by looking at a slew of dog shit on the store during a sale. I would recommend just downloading an emulator and playing one or two games you missed out on when you were young, that way you can just enjoy vidya and not feel FOMO from not adding random shit to your steam library. How tf do you earn winter sale cards now? Only through purchases? The queue just gives stickers it seems
plants vs zombies replanted y/ni see people complaining about bugs and others saying they're fixed nowwould mainly do single player but i might do co-op at some point as well
>>728983386Either through purchases or crafting badges for any other game. Or buying the cards themselves.I save my cards for games until Winter and Summer to crank out sale cards
>>728980480Murdered: Soul Suspect is cool, but the "combat" is a little annoying though.
>>728983281Completely different games. It's an action rpg where the mana system involves picking up gems with really finicky hitboxes and so you're constantly running around trying to figure out where shit is and how to not get killed for standing still.
>>728980768I've only played Wrath of the Righteous. I think people overall like it more. It's apparently hard to go back to Kingmaker. I probably wouldn't want to anyways because WotR was really long.

>>728984382I don't know if I even really like any deck builders aside from Loop Hero, Inscryption, Dicey Dungeons (kind of), and Culdcept, but although it doesn't really have a "deck", I played NO-SKIN recently and loved it.
Why the fuck is the Christmas sale some retarded ass robot theme?
Is nioh 2 any good?I saw a lot of shilling for that game here but i don't like souls clone

>>728984228Ys VIII is great and worth the money, but it is annoying for you since it was on sale for less late last year. I'm in the same boat for Ys IX.
>>728984849It's a level based souls clone. Yes, it's good, but it's fundamentally a souls clone, no avoiding that. And in terms of souls clones I think Lies of P is the best one.

>>728985119The top two.
>>728984849it's a souls clone but better than anything fromsoft has made
>>728985119Abiotic Factor is great. Better with a group so that you don't need to handle all the resource gathering yourself in the earlygame, but it has some of the best survivalcraft QoL that I've seen while still rewarding good planning/logistics and being a solid Half Life clone. It has some hiccups and definitely shows the scars of being developed in early access, but I enjoyed it a lot.

>>728985080I've only played through Inevitable Excess, Through the Ashes, The Treasure of the Midnight Isles and Commander Pack (I think because they were all in the bundle at the time) in the GOTY version so I can't comment on the rest, but my thoughts on them are:>Inevitable ExcessIt's a post main game campaign, but eh. I wouldn't spend more for it. >Through the AshesA little mini-campaign that has a sequel in The Lord of Nothing (included in the GOTY, but I haven't played). You get a party of low level losers that have to survive. I thought it was okay. Better than Inevitable Excess. >The Treasure of the Midnight IslesIt's a randomized dungeon kind of thing. You can play it during the story or with a new party that you make specifically for it. Again eh. There's some good loot though. My MC was pretty bad until I found an item which doubled morale buffs and turned my bard into something decent. >Commander PackYou get some semi-useful items for the beginning of the game, a map and the soundtrack (forgot I had that). You can determine whether that sounds good. I'd say go with the Enhanced Edition, but the other DLC are seemingly better received and include a companion so you might have to look elsewhere for more info.
>>728986130There's apparently an art book too in the Commander Pack.
I can't get over how absolutely fucking terrible the sales are now.

>>728986481Pretty gud
>>728966189Gonna be very honest. No. It feels like a more shallow Doom.

Does anyone have experience with these two? I'll buy Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 regardless.
>>728970926You say this like we didn't go through Bioshock Infinite. We know the Thief devs are washed up.
Is there literally ANYTHING worth buying that isn't slop?
>>728972390I genuinely hope Capcom goes back to having a fucking legendary roster of artists. Monster Hunter Stories 3 at least seems like they woke the fuck up after whatever the fuck the launch of MH Wilds was.
>>728985625Not even shitposting don't bother with nu-GoW 2, I liked the first one well enough but the second is significantly worse in both story and character writing and the combat's glaring flaws (like spacing and positioning not mattering because enemy attack magnetism) is only doubled down on.
>All of this wasted moneyYou guys should really be focused on sending some of that to the elderly in Israel, as they need it more than you.
>>728987594I actually wanted it to complete the story, but I'll reconsider. I can wait for a deeper discount. Thanks.

>>728988076Castle Crashers is only good as a low-effort co-op game to enjoy the aesthetic/humor and smack stuff around, judged as a beat-em-up especially for solo play it's mediocre. Worth that price, just be aware of its strengths and weaknesses.Dragon Commander is based but it's the only Divinity game I've played and the part where you play as a jetpack dragon is only like the 3rd or 4th-best gameplay system with the best being either the political roundtable debates or the dating sim aspects.
>>728988076I can't really be mad that you're getting CC at that price but just know its a shit game without friends. Like it absolutely BLOWS as a beat em up. Hard to believe the massive drop in quality from Alien Hominid.
>>728988305Playing castle crashers as a non couch multiplayer takes out so much soul. I remember playing it on 360 and arguing who got to be the orange knight and the rage when someone lost the fight for the princess they wanted. Its kind of weak as a single player game
>>728988179Definitely. It builds on the fundamentals of the genre well while adding a handful of decent ideas to the table like stomping grounded enemies as a risk-reward thing since you're totally vulnerable while doing it. Only thing is that the game requires a 1cc to beat it, there's no Continues at all; this is usually fine if you're down with routing for score/lives and getting better with each run but there's at least a couple bosses that can be absolute run-killers. Still, with a bit of knowledge on boss patterns and hidden lives it's not hard to clear Easy and at least get to the last level on Normal. Great sprites and OST as well.
>>728988524Oh, that's brave design in this day and age. Alright, I'll pick it up.

>>728988145>Resonance of Fate is hella overpriced, wtf?I'm pretty sure that remaster was developed and published by Tri-Ace themselves instead of being backed by SEGA like the original release, so they probably had to price it high for a chance at breaking even.
>>728976689You can technically go in any order (outside of Middle Ages last), but the difficulty and length of the eras varies. Prehistory and Imperial China are pretty good starting points, while Edo Japan is better saved for the end on account of its extreme complexity.Every era has some amount of secrets, whether that's bonus bosses, unique items, or even secret scenes. Here's a freebie; near the end of the Prehistory chapter, you can backtrack to a big open area and use Pogo's scent tracking to find a mammoth bonus boss in this area. He's extremely strong, more powerful than the chapter's regular final boss, but taking him down gives a good accessory and a low chance at dropping the retardedly powerful Cola Bottle infinite use item.
>>728966103KING
>>728988076I like the Divinity series. Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity are older games now though so you might need to adjust to them.
what are some awesome games that are 90%+ off?
I just want to make a thread and THIS IS THE MOST RETARDED CAPTCHA I'VE EVER SEEN. WHO THE FUCK ADDED THIS SHIT?

>>728964139I make sure to visit my cute little sister every Christmas but she never tells me I'm her present...
>>728983848So not worth the price then,
>>728974313I'm interested in the game because it looks like some Shadow of the Colossus/Monster Hunter sort of hybrid action adventure game, maybe a little more dumbed down than the latter. The use of physics in the gameplay looks alright but it's probably no more impressive than BOTW/TOTK. I mean what else should i buy? would Dragons Dogma 2 actually be worse than that one? because some people are pretty strongly opinionated on how shit that game was. It not having bloated open world checklist activity design is also a bonus i suppose. As in the environments are just smaller maps similar to that of Monster Hunter.
>>728986481why are people looking at you buying these jank ports and going "yeah okay great"
>>728970807I tried going on an AC marathon a couple of years ago and I simply could not do it (I only finished up to rogue), the games were simply not as enjoyable as I remember and the Desmond storyline was always shit. I wish they actually leaned into the more historical conspiracies and have them be almost self contained stories instead of making it a retarded sci fi fantasy that somehow ties everything to Templars and Assassins. Are they too afraid of actually getting into real conspiracies like the Freemasons and the Rothschilds?
>>728988121Yes, I hardly even feel frustrated playing it despite being a rogue- whatever
>>728990105Because that's the majority of Japanese games and this is a weaboo board who don't call the japs out on their ineptitude with PC games, they are not a PC focused market country and are backwards in the stone age. This game for example is a terrible port too>>728989780The most recent tragedy i remember being Rise of the Ronin.
So did they actually fix the NMH pc ports?
>>728984382I enjoyed Beneath Oresa quite a lot.
>>728990339It should be fine from the launch issues at least. But these ports are more or less never going to live up to a standard if they were properly designed PC ports. It's a basic switch port. It's not great but acceptable by Japanese game standards. As in acceptable by their standards that if you run it on a higher refresh rate monitor above 60hz then it might start stuttering and you'll need to cap your refresh rate if you notice it. The sound mixing is god awful but that's just a feature of the game at that point.
Is Brickadia good?I have Blockland nostalgia
I don't know how Square Enix get away with charging as much as they do for those Dragon Quest 1, 2 & 3 remakes. Brand power alone is the price hike rather than what corresponds to the reality of the games and their worth. It's not like they were making an all new massive game. Even if remakes have associated costs this is comparable to when they made the Dragon Quest remakes on the Nintendo DS. Or in other words the cost of making it is not considerably that high.
>>728969743you play those games if you appreciate history
>>728987653yeah, the story of Ragnarok was really bad. If that game were released this year, people would probably compare it to the Veilguard comment about 'HR being in the room'.
>>728985625>>728987653don't listen to the circlejerkers, ragnarok is a good sequel with way better enemy/boss variety
>>728966189Ever played vanquish? It's got that kind of movement but the actual shooting is shallow as fuck. You can do full flips in midair for what it matters though.

If it interests me at all, then I look at the description and tags, and if it passes that then the trailer and screenshots, then the full store description after that. >>728995780Minishoot Adventures>>728995614I would call you based for this but the games are like 200 hour long autist grindfests, so an hour or two of handholdy tutorial bullshit should not filter you if you know what you are getting into

>>728995797I have 3500+ hours between total war warhammer 2 and 3, I was looking for another time sink but after those cutscenes comes a walking simulator across a whole map, just let me play the fucking game man
>>728995342b-bump
>>728995817>Trap ShrineThe game feels so weird like we're not given any options to say anything about his situation. The protagonist literally doesn't want to marry a trap BUT I WANT TO MARRY A TRAP SO LET ME SAY YES YOU ! GIVE ME SOME OPTIONS . This game makes me die inside 20 times over, but I think the worst part about this game is that the traps are already crazy for him. Not to mention the best thing about erotic in these types of games is not the erotic , it's the story and options you pick that leads to that erotic that makes it lit, but this game fails to do that. if you're in denial that you don't like traps (when you do) then you'll love this game BUT I LIKE TRAPS BRO SO LET ME SAY I DO AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH na but in all seriousness it gets better the more you play. although, overall it really is so i can't recommend it, especially since the guy you play as is a and ESPECIALLY since there's no dialogue options which the trailers suggested feels bad.
