Okay, seriously. This game BTFO'd Mario Odyssey the same year it came out, and I only just got it recently. Mario Odyssey is seriously the most boring Mario game I've ever played in my life. I got it at launch with my own switch as well. The game feels like a constant, self-indulgent masturbatory advertisement for Nintendo while you collect the equivalent of coins but with an annoying animation attached to it. AHIT got everything right. Way more clever, funny, charming, better art style, characters, story, everything. The only people that would honestly disagree with this are people that have Nintendo's jizz in their brain from their cock going so far down their throat that the semen splashed upwards into their brain cavity.
I bought this meme game a few years ago and it had really clunky gameplay and a lame hubworld with unappealing level design

The clunky gameplay made it harder to enjoy but unlike Odyssey it was short and sweet which was beneficial to the fact that it feels like you're fighting the game to just move sometimes.Would still hope to see a sequel in the future or even a yooka-laylee update to the original

Comparing it to banjos 10 worlds is pretty unfavorable. I really liked the music but the atmosphere was very hit and miss with some levels and areas surpassing banjo and some being attrociously boring. The flag streamer level in particular was very lackluster except for a few areas. I love the sand temple mod that was created using its bones.
