Thats not to say Gen 3 doesn't have positive moments, and the central theme of environmentalism was clearly very important to them, but it set the precedent for every game afterwards and I'll always be a little spiteful of it because of that (and the artstyle change). It made a major change for the series that, while positive in a lot of ways, killed a lot of Pokemon's original RPG identity.Also I really liked Stadium 1 and 2 as a awesome endgame after the endgame.
