Hello Nioh thread, my name is Anonymous and this is my concession.Ever since the demo released i've been talking shit about the katana, i've made claims such as it being clunkier to use than in Nioh 2, especially the high stance attacks, and that it eats an ungodly ammount of Ki. I've come here to apologize for i was posting while commiting a few sins, first of all being that i wasn't playing on control type E/F, objectively the best control schemes which really makes martial arts shine, especially since they connect a lot smoother in between your regular attacks compared to the active skills of old, 1kat takes great advantage of them and i'm sorry that i haven't been using them properly. Second mistake was me misremembering how i actually played 1kat in Nioh 2, i used high stance when the opportunity arised performing only a single quick attack and quickly using Morning Moon, i posted in these threads after trying to use more than one quick attack with high stance and it felt alien to me how slow it was, not even remembering that i didn't play this way and that Morning Moon comes fairly quickly.For that i am truly sorry, i have learned my lesson and since returned following the way of the sword, please accept my apologies.

I can actually hit 60fps on very low with internal rendering turned all the way down to 25% everywhere, but once I go to the castle it crashes back to 45-50. I used to know the beyond infinity timing years ago but I completely lost the muscle memory, I've spent about an hour running through crucibles trying to recapture it. Watching that video with the sound cues, the timing seems extended by 200ms or my game performance is slowing the combat down in the interim. Learning from visual cues in combat, half the time you're doing it blind because the white glow overwrites the normal effects which indicate when to use inputs.

Nioh 3's expedition system handles co-op best of pretty much any action RPG I've played. Put in a good 10 hours with my best friend over the weekend and we only got disconnected once (at the blacksmith introduction). Basically everything is simultaneously earned between both accounts--the only bizarre exception is that you still have to pet the Scampuss in your own world.

Maybe if you shoot them after attacking, you'd do and extra fast "quickdraw" shot that also ki pulses for you. L2 would do a gun grapple on enemies that are ki broken like in RotR. Maybe shooting during arts combos would also give you that white flash and let you continue to chain it with strong attacks and martial arts while keeping you in arts proficiency. There's tons of possibilities.
