I'm on the last bit of story before Quarantine, but I'll warn you now a lot of the enemies in this game and particularly the latter half of games are incredibly niggerdly. A lot of the large enemies in my experience like the big drill dudes that do instant double 5xx damage hits and the annoying mimics will get paralyzed and some of the aforementioned tanky ones can get charmed.
