Edmund Mcmillen has the same philosophy as Dwarf Fortress: Losing is fun. The game is less about analytical strategizing and more just roll with the punches and try finding workarounds to the bullshit the game throws at you. If you end up losing, it's okay, because losing is fun. If you disagree with this mentality, or find it to be stupid, you should simply play a different game. This is Edmund's philosophy, he loves hearing people talk about the game and what weird/funny shit happened in their runs

>>733340401Not that anon, I dont like it because the shadow attacks in the direction you're facing. So you can't really surround an enemy and hit them with it. You have to set them up to both attack in the same direction on a different enemy. So like if you attack north, the clone attacks facing north. It takes some setup.
