The endless procession of tasks and deadlines loomed over his head, and people were depending on him. He wasn’t tired, or worn out, he was fine. He…His head fell into his hands as a crack formed in his focus. He just had to keep moving forward, taking on the jobs that no one else could handle. Fixing mistakes that no one else could see. It’s why he was here after all, wasn’t it? Anon was a problem solver, one who had no time for the chaos buzzing through his mind right now, crashing against the walls of his patience. He was a machine, hardly human really, if he put his mind to it, and machines didn’t need to rest. Didn’t need to feel.>Slowly, with a miserable shuddering breath, he lifted his eyes to the screen once more.->Ceroba, of course, had her concerns when Anon started taking his work home with him. She smiled once more, resolving to remind him, no matter how many times it took.

It's more likely if he did encounter her that he would get bulma involved even though he wasn't traveling with her at that point. Events would have to conspire just right for their paths to cross in a way that goku actually involved himself like that.

If there's another thread at some point I'll post some real nice art of a "this is how it should have gone". It's just that most people writing it completely don't get who papyrus is, and can't write a convincing version of it, and instead go against everything that is papyrus.
