I held the top spot for most accuracy in a hoard shooter game. No title, or trophy, or recognition or anything, but just personal satisfaction. Then the devs added a meta AoE weapon where every single shot counted as a miss (they never fixed it to this day even though that weapon got power crept eons ago). And in the same update or around the same time, they added an enemy with a bubble shield that you had to shoot to break, but shooting the shield also counted as a miss, not a hit. Then they added these enemies in almost every mission type, and instead of fixing all this, they removed the accuracy stat from player profiles entirely.Needless to say I stopped caring after that point. Closest I came to being the 'best' at something and the devs screwed up so colossally, that they literally swept it under the rug. Accuracy stats still exist, but not the overall stat.
