Lugh only had a total of 41 tome uses available as far as we know, and the last level up we saw for him was level 15 during the early part of chapter 9, so it was at most 5 levels, but likely much less.

I beat conquest but to be honest I'm super fucking disappointed. the story was dumb as shit before, but the ending was insultingly bad. the final boss sucked and my guy didn't even acknowledge that his wife just fucking disappeared forever. I wasn't going to play revelation but I'm so pissed I feel like I have to now to get closure.gameplay wise I have mixed opinions too. I feel like attack and guard stance add a lot of complexity but not a lot of strategy. the character building system had a lot of options, but when I wanted to do something specific to scrimblo a character a certain way it was super convoluted or not possible at all. it seemed like it was easy to make already good characters unstoppable, but there weren't many ways to make weak characters good, especially if you wanted to keep them in a specific class. some of the maps were really fun, but a lot of them were too gimmicky. the maps were also kind of small and constricted with too many narrow hallways, so a lot of times I couldn't think of a way to approach besides sending my strongest units in and hoping they could kill everything.another thing that really annoyed me is that one of the main reasons I was playing this game to begin with is because I got filtered by durability in other games because it made me autistically horde weapons and use nothing but iron and steel all game. I thought this game would let me have fun with other weapons because it didn't have durability, but here you are basically forced to use bronze and iron all game anyway because everything else is either shit or takes too long to get your rank high enough to equip.
