I know hard is the default, but everyone you get feels so anemic or the growths on most units feel like hot ass. Some of the promotion bonuses kinda blew too like the wyvern guy Vince didn't even get a crumb of strength or speed on promotion. Unless you have weapon effectiveness like a horseslayer or whatever it is hard to effectively one round even supposedly weaker enemies without being slowed down.
