The only game I actually liked playing died in feb and now I have basically nothing to play. Been trying to enjoy singleplayer stuff again but there just isn't any games I'm interested in. Any recs? Like some kind of long term RPG?
>>737031280what game(s) do you like? what games have you tried and didnt like and why?
>>737031335The game I played was Supervive. I won tournaments for it throughout its lifespan and just loved the expression of combat and so on. I liked Tunic a lot which I played somewhat recently but its not a game you really go back too. I guess I really like top down action games because I tried BG3 but couldn't get into it cause the writing didn't jive with me and the gameplay was a bit slow for me personally. No I don't like league, dota or deadlock.
>>737031453Death's Door is kind of like Tunic, but you play as a crow (or raven?). It's in my backlog. Might be worth looking into.
>>737031524I played Death's Door a long time ago. I ended up thinking it was generally fine, but I didn't love it.
>>737031453i think you might like spiral knights, free game that came out a long while ago thats still going with no signs of being shut down, a bunch of anons played it for a month not long ago, thread is still up>>>/vm/2243009
>>737031746How f2p friendly is it? I'm always a bit skeptical of playing MMOs like this, but it does look somewhat fun.
Have you played a mystery dungeon game before? I sunk 500 hours into Monster Girls and the Mysterious Adventure 2.
>>737031524>>737031721deaths door is a 10/10 game until the last third of the game where you realize they just got out of budget and half assed the final part of the game-
>>737031280>long term RPGdragon quest vii, is sort of a long chaptered novel you can play for one or two years if you take your time.3ds or remake are both good options, or the ps1 if you are sadistic.
>>737031787going completely free to play requires some grinding but that grinding literally just means playing the game more. you can easily get to endgame within a month of regular playing
>>737031794I played explorers of sky when I was a kid. Fun overall idk how I would feel about it today.>>737031873I'm just not a huge fan of Dragon Quest sadly.>>737031897I'm willing to put in time to grind, I would honestly prefer something take a long time at this rate.
>>737031959>I would honestly prefer something take a long time at this rate.good for you then cause endgame takes fucking forever to max out all your shit, and making+leveling other gear other than what you decide to start with can take a while, and there is a ton of variety
