I downloaded it, and when I realized it was really good I bought it. it's going to get updates and I support good games, not shit like "mixtape".and the focus is on the ocean, not land unlike below zero. also, the dash and abilities you can pick are very useful. lots of quality of life stuff too (craft from containers, queue items, etc).

I'm 4 hours in so not really that much but I have some thoughts-The feeling of being lost in the deep ocean is still there and done very well, if you liked looking at the bottomless darkness and getting a shiver down your spine you'll enjoy it here too.In fact the first stance of this happens under a minute after you boot the game, which in a way I found it kind of a bad idea because it kills the element of dread when you're exploring after learning more of the game and realize that you NEED to go down the darkness in order to progress -I hate what they did to the story. Your magical technology robot will recreate a copy of you whenever you die, in fact one of his first orders is for you to go off and kill yourself so he can test this.I think this is dumb because it severely cuts down on the fear of exploring..Obviously in the first game you also just revived yourself if you died but without the excuse attached to it. But from an immersion perceptive, it removes the anxiety of going to places you shouldn’t be. Like yeah sure I'll go down this dark cave with half my o2, I'm just body 7 out of a billion so who cares.
