A huge waste when 90% of people would maybe play it twice and never touch it again.

Yotei has a pretty generic story filled with a lot of "oh my god atsu is a GENIUS, she can use ALL THESE WEAPONS!" (because they removed stances, you now get whole ass other weapon types which you still snap between in an instant to combat enemies in the exact same way as the first) and a lot of fellating of her as a strongkkkg WOMYN. It gets extremely grating extremely fast. They really heavily harp on that she's a woman. Every opportunity. They avoid saying "She's better than a man" but they do everything just short of it every like 15 minutes of cutscenes.The main story itself is really generic.revenge story. main character was trapped and left for dead by a convenient group of people, and you kill them all and find a wacky band of misfits to aid you on the way (including a defector from the bad guys who helps you learn their secrets! go figure).It's just fucking lame. At that point the game can shift to mainland Japan, with Jin having to navigate the dangers of whatever prefecture he finds himself in as he establishes a school, or has a family, or restores his honor, or what-the-fuck-ever. There was plenty to do with Jin, and to explore regarding attitudes and political philosophies of that period.
