Eden's first two wings are great, and the last wing has good fights (though at this point they're probably powercrept into the dirt). The disappointing element for the third wing is that it sets up a bunch of stuff could potentially be some of the coolest shit imaginable, ESPECIALLY at that point in the story (i.e. right after defeating Elidibus and when you're just starting to confront Fanny Danny). It just doesn't do anything actually interesting with the concepts and kind of squanders them for a story that is, at least, very faithful to the Nomura tone that it's going for. It feels like some Kingdom Hearts shit (though it's kind of meant to be an homage to FF8, I guess). It's possibly the biggest case of wasted potential in the game, and I'm not really sure if it's because of Covid or they just leaned too hard into the Nomura-isms.Should do Eden for the Warrior of Light's teen goth gf with DSL, either way.
