Alternatively, you can dump Axe of Fools into the GY and activate Ohime's quick effect. But even if Zeus resolves, you can just rebuild the board from scratch anyways. Remeber to always have Mayowashidori in the GY for these situations

Personally, I would recommend not running any handtraps at all. You WANT your opponent to set up a bunch of shit so you can abuse your board breakers and have them play into either or both of your Tactics. It also helps greatly with consistency. Just getting Hu-Li on the field with an equip spell is enough to win many, many games.
I have opened nothing but dogshit unplayable hands and as soon as I get a good opening I'm going second against some exonigger who opened with two level fours (his entire combo) and no interruption

Last week i decided to go ahead with building swordsoul because i knew that i'd just need protos, berserker, 2 baxia and another chixiao, which is absurdly cheap (90 UR, 60 SR) for a deck that is still tier 3 or so. After taking it to ranked and going on a 12 win streak i decided to invest a bit more on it (dragite and gymir), but it still feels incomplete/unoptimized, pic related is my current list, is there anything i should change? Sahasrara and blader are just there as filler, as i genuinely can't think of anything else to put in their place. I'm not to sure on the tenyi ratios either.

I still feel at odds with Maxx C. On one end I get that with meta decks that are build around shitting out main deck archetypes to bring out strong extra decks staples that wind up being so strong and full of omni-negates that when you go 2nd, it's almost as if 6 cards wont be enough. But on another end, activating Maxx C can give a player an absolutely ridiculous amount of draw power. So much draw power that you can end up with not only an insane amount of resources come your turn but you also have the chance of drawing hand traps to interrupt the opponent play during theirs. And the problem now is that after the opponent has been interrupted and denied their resources that leaves the other opponent full of resources than they would arguably need and then some and the other player with hardly anything to defend themselves against.

I tried running Altergiest in the Skill Drain event (bad idea btw because you HAVE to open Protocol or the deck won't work since you won't be able to search it) and I tried using Memorygant's battle effect. I tributed the monster, but the ATK gain didn't happen.Why is that? I had Protocol up the whole chain.
