naginata katana is the best overall weapon in kenshi. i decided to finally try a polearms squad and it's OP af. the low damage multipliers on the card should be ignored and you normally get 2 attacks in for every 1 you would get with any other weapon. 3 decently skilled fighters with naginata katanas can mow down a cannibal village in just a couple minutes. they massacre beak things and other large and slow wildlife as well. unless something is very heavily armored then it goes down real quick. regular polearms tend to take down samurai like they were starving bandits. i don't think polearms are cool at all but i'm going to have a hard time not using them after this, the high damage, freakish speed, and massive range is going to forever temp me.

Got a decent layout for my rework of the Slave Markets, I was thinking expanding the range of some of the swamp gangs into the South Wetlands to give them a bit more of a presence. I was thinking maybe some Stone Rats to act as manhunter squads or Blackshifters running a casino here.I always felt like this location should have been more important since it's at a crossroads on the south side of the continent. Terra and Mirra were exploring Holy Nation territory while dodging any patrols and villages they happened across when they were ambushed by a group of fogmen.Terra was captured while Mirra was able to kill a fog prince, decided to rip its head off as a trophy and limp away.Thankfully for Terra, just before the duo arrived on this scene, Holy Nation was just fighting the fogmen and one of their own that they abandoned was being eaten instead of Terra.Now she waits while her wounds heal up a little before she tries to make a run for it. Or for when Mirra can heal up and come save her. Whichever comes first.

You could find the .platoons tagged accordingly to your ninjas' faction, open them with FCS (inside kenshi's install folder) to see if they have the correct number of bums (make sure they don't have any names, named characters are important to the game and you don't want to delete those) and if you find the one you suspect to be your intellectual abusers, deleting their .platoon will make them go away forever.
I don't expect you to realistically do this given my own experience with platoon-fucking, but the option is there.

Those colours correspond to values in the FCS for each piece of armour, toggling whether sections of the body get rendered or not; flip the red switch in the armour entry, disable the rendering of any part of the body that's coloured in red on the part map. The engine itself supports something like eight sections (red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, magenta, purple, orange), but Chris for whatever reason only bothered to use the first three. The community part map assigns body sections to the unused colours, but there's some subtle errors that I only started noticing when I tried to make ankle boots; in particular, the channel for hiding the feet hides more polygons on the left leg than the right, as the cyan section covers slightly more of one leg than the other. Arkiel likely didn't notice it was an issue because he only ever made knee high boots for his heels mod. I tried to fix that, and succeeded well enough that it's not an issue for my mod (though looking back at my "fixed" texture it's still pretty sloppy).Overall it's a minor thing, and the standard community map works fine for the mod it was actually designed for.
