After Flight, Tail Swipes and the Spin Dash, THIS should be Tails' signature gadget skill! I've always liked to theorize that Tails has hidden electrical abilities, like fox-fire in the form of electricity, but he can't control it so he builds these gadgets to control it for him. Thunder Shoot from Heroes is the main thing that sparks this theory, since he's channeling electricity into Sonic & Knuckles and the Dummy Rings also explode with electricity. This arm cannon skill is called "Energy Ball" and clearly looks like electricity... and his attack in Sonic Riders was an Electric Plug. So, there is a clear theme here.
