It's weird that you only get to play with characters during combat and that's it. Especially coming off of Genshin and HSR. Unless you're in combat or in the menus, you don't get to use or see your characters at all. You can't walk around with them, they're almost absent from the TV sections, they just get way less screen time. This is weird since you spend time and money on getting them and building them up. Now this isn't that abnormal when compared to Honkai Impact 3rd. However, there is a home base mode in that game and you get to see your characters in the main menu. This also allows you to interact with them too. Compare that to ZZZ currently and it just feels like the characters are so distant from player. More so than any other Hoyo game. This obviously is gonna make some question pulling or even playing this game because why get a character that you hardly see. HSR and Genshin nailed having their characters be involved in most of the game. You got a quest with Mona and you have a Mona, go have fun having a twin. Same idea with Blade in HSR. You also get to see all the interactions they've added in the world and the menus. Hell, HSR just added dialogue between characters in the party menu. There really isn't an excuse for ZZZ to have such a small amount of interactions with its main selling point.
