And don't think much has changed, he hasn't really shown up since. Problem is that he is a standard 5* sustain. That means people replace him once they get 2 limited 5* sustains. He is also kinda difficult to gear, since you want a specific set with high speed. So Aventurine ends up being way easier to use as a shielder. Gepard still has his niche thanks to his aggro trace, most teams has a 66% chance to be hit. That makes him one of the best sustains for Acheron teams with Trend. In my opinion the best, because of the perfect balance between trend stacks and sustain capabilities. Fire MC generates more, but sucks at sustain. FX and Aventurine are better at sustaining, but apply way less debuffs because they only have a 33% chance to be hit.
