New player here, only played a month and I don't really understand why Aether Raids are the most popular "main" mode. You hardly get any aether per day so you can't even play it much, at best it's like 3 raids a day, at least with arena you replenish your swords so you can keep trying to improve your score. The traps just seem obnoxious? The map is always similar terrain, just with traps and some structures blocking the way. In arena you at least get actual maps, as simplistic as they are. No clue what Summoner Duel is like, not touched it yet but it seems like the most sweaty P2W esports one.
