Older AMD cards with more mature drivers can work well, and I got a 6950XT after the 7000's came out, but I had to update to recent drivers to get it stable. The 7900XT had performance issues in Windows in VR when it first came out, which might have been fixed by now, but I haven't kept up with the news on it. VRAM scaling is non-linear, so the less you have, the more it hurts. 16GB is the recommended standard now. The 24 on a 4090 will let you raise visual quality more, while with 8GB you can get crashed by memory leaks. I don't think 12 will be futureproof enough.

Car even started doing a minor lift-off oversteer in the middle of one specific corner with a new engine, just like it did in sim once I've put the values in. Even change in suspension was more or less similar, though it was super difficult to get the right values so I just eyeballed half of it. Sims are considerably accurate, but they don't feel like real life driving at all. Because of that, I doubt you'll find much use of it in driving's license. But don't worry, you'll get it for sure, I believe in you, the main challenge of driving license is rules and behavior, not car operation, anyone can do a basic hill start or training turn thing after 30 hours of mandatory training.

The main one is that when the host manipulates some items, the coop partner basically freezes until the goofy failed client sync finishes all the physics collisions.If they fixed that and a few crashes I'd say it'd be ready to actually play. Got issues with Steam Link yesterday, 45mbps on wifi 6e after it working flawlessly for a week, put target manually to 350mbps and speeds improved again.Will try virtual desktop and tinker with that today.Also, how do I turn off ANY type of sleep mode on the quest3. Any tips to not suck at VTOL? Other than skill issue and git gud. The joystick and the throttle lever in particular feel too floaty and immaterial to me (for obvious reasons). I'm used to regular flight sims, but not having any sort of physical resistance to my movements messes me up.

At the moment I’m using some TP Link Deco repeaters set to 5 Ghz only and connected through ethernet to my PC. I get around 100 mbps h265 (not like my RX 5700 XT can pull much more). Will an Archer AX1500 make much of a difference with this GPU? According to VD, encoding seems to be the bottleneck here.
