The amount of utility Mannadium still has is insane, and you have SO much room for the Xyz variant. Working with what I've still got(sold off some stuff earlier)/know of in terms of techs, Lancea and Raiho is for the Synchro variant desu, White Forest in general gets you many more viable bodies for Xyzs', and still allows you to set up normal plays between them. You still suffer from Droll (ofc), Shifter hurts this variant (normal Scareclaw Mannadium laughed at it :^( big sad), and ofc Nibiru but there absolutely are ways to play into/around it without losing much.And it's really just the R8 and R6 pool I went into. You even have access to the R10 pool but it's more costly to access (and it's really just Varudras you want from there IIRC), and ofc the R4 pool exists. Hell, even some R2s lel. And if you balance it out properly, you can set up the Buster Lock too.

Kuriboh was a good handtrap because all it does is save you from OTKs and Swift Scarecrow and Battle Fader also followed in its footsteps Gorz did the same on top of being able to totally turn the game around in your favor but unfortunately this was incredibly disjointed so it became problematic. Same with Tragoedia. Honest was easily the most controversial handtrap from the GX days because he made light decks a gamble to engage in battle and he was an instant answer to high attack beatsticks. Maxx "C" was always controversial because he causes disjointed card advantage between the players Effect Veiler was good, she could stop FTKs and stop combos before it was too late and Impermance does the same. Droll is completely format dependent because he's gone from format assassinating to totally useless in all of his 14 years Ghost Ogre was when handtraps had a serious powercreep because now they could straight up nuke cards and you would be at a disadvantage. Cherries was another form of this powercreep and Ash Blossom was the point of no return And now we've got Nibiru who is the gatekeeper of combo decks since they all need to get a negation for him by their 5th summon and Shifter who can make a player skip their turn
