It'll help you write their dialogue later, which will make how they speak later more defined in chats.Also playing with bots helps. Find a bot you really want to talk to but have no idea how to get that first message going? Or maybe one you downloaded without really having a plan to play with it, only to get catch yourself 50 messages into chat after chat with them? Try to find out why that is for both of them so you can apply that to your own bots. tl;dr just write the greeting dumbass
