>>489538779Yeah that's a bit less crazy.https://files.catbox.moe/qmt6qf.png
Silly little trick I've been messing around with lately.1. Open a normal gen in an image editor. Select some part you want to be closer to the camera—like a hand or a gun or a dick or whatever—and expand just that part. Go crazy and make it occupy 50% of the image if you want.2. Inpaint around the edited part, making sure to give the AI enough room to figure out the perspective. Add "foreshortening" to prompt.3. Result of inpainting will look like shit since part of it was upscaled, but as long as it gets the perspective right you can feed it through img2img at somewhere around .70 strength to fix it.4. Enjoy feeling strangely threatened by a 2D girl.
>>489542221Built for sleep molestation.
>>489542221Ooh, you might want to try adding a fingerprint tag. There's not that many images for it, but the little swirly bit it puts on the finger would emphasize the pointing.
>>489542221That's neat
Is it a good time or a bad time to have suddenly gotten AI craving after a year of leeching off Claude and Gemini? I'm tired of instructing and I want to write more. I know NAI is currently training 70B, I guess that would be decent enough but are there any other services or should I just wait? Not that I plan on using it but how's Aetherroom if any anons here have tried the first wave?
>>489532130Anemoia and Nostalgia Friday will be manifest
>>489544796Just use openrouter to play with a 70B while you wait. Got a few base/completion models to try, much cheaper than subbing to NAI, and quicker than waiting for the 70B if you just want to scratch the itch.

I'm thinking of exclusively writing yuri from now on
No textgen updates, it’s so over. NovelAI has been abandoned and there’s no other service to make stories with
>writingThis word is tainted, by the way. It exclusively means "shilling."
I regularly visit Anlatan's Discord server, and every time I do, I ask if the 70b model is out yet. And each time I get the same answer: no. I've asked one and a half hundred times already, and one and a half hundred times I've got told it's not released yet.The thing is, each time I ask, the same turkroach answers.>"Is 70b out yet?">"No.">"Do you have 70b Llama in NAI?">"No 70b model yet.">"What models do you have, are there any Llama finetunes?">"No llama finetunes.">"I want to subscribe to opus tier, does it provide access to the 70b model?"r>"Sorry, there's no 70b model yet.">"Do you have any more recent models? I'd like to try a 70b one.">"We didn't get our H100s yet."And this bastard dev knows me perfectly, knows what I will ask and knows what he'll answer. But not once has either of us shown that we both know the script. Sometimes the turk isn't online when I enter the server, then I look at online users list, waiting for him.>"What do you want?">"I need a 70b model.">"We don’t have one.">"A shame."Sometimes he chats with other users, then I patiently wait for him to finish:>"Are there any 70b models available on NAI?">"No, it's not released yet."Sometimes there’s no one else on the server, and only I’m there, scrolling the text channels. Of course, he knows what will happen next, but he doesn’t show it.>"I can't access any new models, are they even available on NAI?">"No, they aren't, we don't have anything newer than Kayra."This is a brutal, manly confrontation, the outcome of which is unclear. It is obvious that each side is counting on victory. However, I'm ready for it to be a draw.

Does the NAI prompting guide apply to local models? Also, any specific tips for doing CYOA type stuff?
>>489620675Sort of, but ATTG was designed with NAI's finetune in mind. Though it should have some effect due to the way LLMs work.
>>489621498Got it, thanks anon! Fwiw I generally use mini-magnum and nemo, but want to get better at prompting.
>>489620675>Does the NAI prompting guide apply to local models? You should stick to whatever format your model recommends. If it's a popular model, you can sometimes find other people's prompt templates and build off them.Like >>489621498 said, the[ ATTG ] and [ Style: ] things were reinforced into the model through training. So models can pick up on it if they're smart, but the effect won't be baked-in>Also, any specific tips for doing CYOA type stuff? You can try asking the model to generate 3 possible actions, if it's an instruct model. Something like "at the end of each output, create a numbered list of 3 actions the user can take. Avoid repeating actions from the last output." idk, I can't test that right now because I'm phoneposting but you get the idea.Reinforce the format with a few example chats and it'll pick up the pattern.

NAI models are pretty unique these days, pretty much everything else follows some sort of instruct paradigm that needs to be treated very differently. trying to do NAI-style prompting with them is not a good idea. you can do it anyway, of course, but it's not going to get you very good results.>Also, any specific tips for doing CYOA type stuff?look up your model's prompt format and set a system prompt that tells it to act as a text adventure / CYOA / roleplaying game for the user, some basic information about the scenario, and any specific behaviors you want to encourage or discourage (e.g. give the player choices at the end of the turn, never make out of context remarks to the user, etc.)

Hey since we're talking about him already, I think it's pretty funny that on /chag/ he's clearly uncomfortable with the subject manner of the board to the point he won't do his usual screenshot stuff with NC, so instead just insists "this model can handle pony stuff" and weasels around the subject. It's kind of sad because the whole point of his prompting style is to avoid writing, yet he can't setup a very basic ryona scene with ponies.
A reminder for the thread.Do not respond to it. Follow protocol.

I read that mixing past and present tense in writing is bad. If my story is in past tense, do the small, general remarks have to be in past tense to? Ex.>anon had fucked over 100 women at this point. Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can buy bitches.Or>anon had fucked over 100 women at this point. Money couldn't buy happiness, but it sure could buy bitches.
>>489661696Wrong board: >>>/lit/
>>489661696I use both, depending on the POV. If it's a more personal, first person POV where it's like a person telling you about their experience, I go with the first. For a more detatched style, I go with the second one.
>>489661696souless
>>489661696in my view:>general remark inspired by something in the story but stated as a common truth - present tense>general remark that's specifically relevant to the past tense events of the story or a character's state at that time - past tenseso either one of those could be valid depending on the context it's being presented in. I'd write the first one if anon's whoremongering adventures served to illustrate that money is, in fact, good for buying bitches, but if anon fucking 100 women was only a step on his journey and that was just illustrative of how he was feeling at the time (before everything changed and he saw the error of his ways...) I would go for the second one. >>489662102 also makes a good point that it's dependent on the perspective you're using (I could see an opinionated narrator stating things different ways for different reasons), I don't think there's any one hard-and-fast rule here.so basically>If my story is in past tense, do the small, general remarks have to be in past tense to?I would say no. mixing tense is more of a crime when your narration of the scene itself is all over the place for no reason, stuff like your example is perfectly acceptable.
>>489661696It's only good for meta narration, like in A series of Unfortunate events. The implication here is that the present tense is someone commeting on your story in real time (like a narrator). AI is probably not smart enough to pick up on it.
Why would anyone not get the cheapest tier of NovelAI?3k tokens is more than enough to do a single chapter, and then for the next chapter, just turn the events of the last chapter into summarised lorebook entries. What could you possibly want a shitton of tokens for, unless you're doing one recurring story that somehow has like 20 different characters with a million details in the same scene.
>>489668482Why would anyone use NovelAI at all?
>>48966905370b soon. Any last words?
>>489669053ease of setupyou just pay and immediately get writingto use your own, you'd first have to find an AI that fits your needs and price range, get a key, find a front end, set that up, set it up with the ai, which will require fine-tuning based on the specific model and THEN you can writeAnd the results aren't going to be all that different
>>489668482>unless you're doing one recurring story that somehow has like 20 different characters with a million details in the same scene.I mean, some of our regulars are trying to write novel-length stories (tsws and malrah come to mind, both posted chapters recently). Not that the 8k context is really enough to fit much more than 3 chapters, mind.

That mean it has 100%-0.5% = 99.5% to NOT get picked. If you generate for, say, 600 characters (which is about 150 tokens since a token is around 4 characters long). So, we have 0.995^150 = 0.47148. That is, even with 0.5% prob, there is only 47.148% to NOT pick a token, or 52.852% to pick such a seemingly low token. giant women?
>>489741087Based.
>>489734896It does kinda look like him doesn't it
>>489741087giant women owe me sex
>>489741087My opinion on giant women: I can appreciate giant women, but only in certain contexts. My preference is that they start off normal sized, and then are grown large, to about 30 to 50 feet, via mad science, magic, or whatever. Any smaller than that, and they don't feel "giant" enough, and any larger they start to become too big to meaningfully interact with individuals. I prefer them to be scared, embarrassed, or otherwise nonplussed about their situation. They would say things like:>Anon, what happened to me?>Everybody's looking!>What do you mean I'm stuck like this?!I'm not a fan of the "mommy" type of giantesses, the ones who are born giant or cool with it, or the ones that abuse the tinies or smash Tokyo.
>>489746449To be fair, he has a really cool design so anyone that looks like Argalia is automatically cool.
>>489750002I agree with this with the exception of the mommy type because I like those. (They're also rare, relatively speaking.) The entire fetish is a struggle, imagine being into sizefag kinks but not liking rampage, feet or vore while only really liking a specific size range where physical interaction and intimacy is possible. The recent trend of galaxy sized giantesses is fucking absurd. Autism demands I over analyze everything and sans square cube law, logically miniguy/shrink is simply more convenient for both parties. Food for comfortable living isn't an issue, a giant woman will have no shelter from the rain and eventually starve. Size drain is also very good. Back to the original point, the fetish is simply overrun with extremes. Don't get me started on Felarya and how it's original fanbase was pushed out by vorefags.
>>489750002I prefer my giants within the realm of realism. Elven to thirteen feet tall.

I actually love the latter. But ahegao cranks that up to 11, going straight "brain death from pleasure" territory, with all the realism and subtlety of a children's cartoon. This thread sure is slow lately, I check in every now and then to see if there have been any updates, waiting on a new text or imagegen model. Anyway, I'm using Nemo lately, as it's the best my VRAMlet rig can handle. Highly recommended for VRAMlets, I like it a lot more than other small models. I'll resub to try NAI out again once they release a new model for text or image.
Trying out the editor token prob option. Pretty fun with letting Kayra run wild.

I must write something nice tonight..
I already started on a new prompt>just doing some quick random dumb prompts using the touhou lorebook>put in an unnamed character tapping her foot>kayra decides it's yuuka and she's not happy about the state my flower shop is in I think this may be what I do next when I have the time.
>>489882454>started on a new promptMe too, been depressed and not writing much for like a month so far, I figured I'd put my current stuff on hold and just start something different.Wrote 4 lorebook entries, but I haven't started the actual prompt yet. It's still more than I've done in like the whole week though, kekI love Yuuka, and whenever I see her name brought up I feel like listening to that touhou bossa nova song again. Hope your story goes well, anon
>>489882935I keep debating re-writing up an old favorite prompt for a nasty monster city slice of life. Can't decide between doing it now or waiting and brainstorming until 70butts.
>>489886179I get that. Part of me wanted to hold off too, but I've been more in the mood to write than I have for a while.Got that Miku prompt out, and now working on the Yuuka prompt. Part of me worries the urge to write will be gone by then and I'll go back to just playing prompts or making super low effort lazy ones.
>>489886179I'd just do the rewriting/brainstorming while the ideas and desire are there, regardless of whether you wait for 70b or run it now.I'm trying a lewd-coded prompt for once since pretty much everything I write is sfw adventure stuff. For now it's just 4 characters and a basic prompt Summary in the memory, but I hope to do something episodic where they get into new dumb situations each chapter.
>>489886771I'm not gonna lie, I haven't used lorebook in years. Not since Sigurd I think, or something. Fuck I can't even remember. But yeah, for a setting like this I really should. I'm not really familiar with the formatting recommendations or anything these days either.
I need your help lil bro, describe her in text(words)

>>489890782Uhh, I could try, but someone else would probably do better. In general I was told you should describe a character focusing on 1-2 primary features about them.

Her sharp eyes are hidden behind red spectacles, and a lit cigarette hangs from her scowling red lips. Her braided hair is dyed white, with black roots showing her natural hair color. She wears a tight black qipao (is that what its called?) with a dragon on her chest.
>>489885946This is painful to read. Also damn you guys have some confidence in your writing. Quality can be improved in editing but you can't edit what never exists. First drafts can be a shit as can be it doesn't matter.>>489890782She was a muscular woman with long, blonde hair tied into a tight braided ponytail. Dressed for a fight, she was wearing black gloves, black pants, and a black top emblazoned with a golden dragon. With a white belt and jacket tucked into her pants, she crossed her arms and squared up. Her ruby lenses did little to hide her disgusted gaze. A long drag on her cigarette was all she could muster.

>>489912576I feel that strongly. I've been gaming while we wait but it's not the same. I have so many ideas but there is no point doing anything aside a rough draft at the moment.
>>489912082I want to see how a larger finetune aimed at storytelling is. Everything tends to be instruct or chat, so it'll be nice to see how a 70B made for storytelling is.
>>489913605The 70B is made for chat, it's for AetherRoom. And it's based on Llama, which was already pre-trained with instruct data.

>>489913721Anon, do you know what pre-trained means?
>>489914090Instruct data is included in the pre-training stage because it helps with benchmarks.
>>489913605If it was Kayra+ and it had an easier time understanding more complicated concepts or character physiology I'd be happy. I'll gladly mess with AeR as well, but my ultimate end goal is an adventure framework for a storytune model.
>>489913884Text completion in an after-thought because it's not profitable. It's clear that all the attention is focused on AetherRoom. There's no alpha nor beta, they aren't hiring people for it, etc.
