My biggest issue is that Miquella was preoccupied with overcoming unsolvable problems like Godwyn’s super death, malenia’s rot, and the flame of frenzy. Or Mohg and the Formless Mother.The DLC is more about Miquella’s attempt to end the cycle of violence. His interest in the outer gods is lost. Radahn has very little to do thematically with these things, and his connection to rot isn’t really solved as much as side stepped.

Just so you all know. Morgott wasn't in the sewers until the Shattering. He was out at the time of War with the Giants which is evident by how Godfrey cared about him and the Light Hammer he uses which is in fact a Light version of the Giant Crusher, a hammer used in the War with the Giants. Also he created Sentry's torches to protect his siblings so it had to happen between Godwyn's death and Shattering and he had to be in already high position in Leyndell, possibly already being it's de facto king due to being oldest of Marika's children.
