Rin "clicked" in a new way that established her route as the best by far. The themes and symbolism are a bit cliche (not for VN standards... but it's the usual seize the day, reach for the sky, open your heart stuff) but the way the small interactions with Rin and Hisao are written, the motifs keep recurring, and characterization subtly builds and foreshadows (for VN standards), are all great. It's just a really solid product.
