so once you are 260 its better to choose sacred symbols from the symbol selectors you get from event rewards, even if you didn't max all your arcane symbols yet, right?
It's how you want to play catchup. If you use it on arcane river you finish them faster so you spend less time doing dailies in the future. If you use them on grandis you can start to build up your sacred power which they give a lot less of and helps you when you get to future zones since there isn't a hyper stat for that.

Getting spares for star force is also much easier along with the actual grinding.

I don't know what server you're on but at least on Solis there are smegas advertising those every now and then. If you're somewhat patient you could also wait until you get further into 6th job.
