got my warband to 80. Now I can finally start playing the game.
as a XIV refugee and a resub to WoW... the MSQ feels really short.. but I think the issue is in WoW you're not forced to do all the sidequests.. and the game is built around having lots of alts. Whereas in XIV you have ONE (1) toon that is your main and usually your only character... so you do all the main quests + the side quests otherwise you won't reach max level.. So WoW story feels shorter since you can just b-line through it to the end whereas in XIV it's longer because you are basically required to do everything. Beating the MSQ over a weekend feels pretty silly, but I still got lots of those side quests to go back on with my alts. Which now with warband are all unique I guess and will disappear when completed?

So does anyone know when Dragonflight will be the new starting zone for WoW players? A lot of people say that starting the game sucks because you have to choose between five different expansions. nufag checking in. I'm playing retail trial so far but bought TWW. Biggest hurdle at this point is my movement speed means a lot of back and forth, I need a mount. I did racial start so I'm slowly working my way to lv10, but am lv9 after playing a few hours tonight. I'm Alliance but playing on Wyrmrest Accord so I can provoke the flames of faction warfare when I visit the Horde settlements on an Alliance toon until they recognize my power and allow me to walk among them. That's a dream goal of sorts, to be able to git gud and hold my own among hostile zones. I want to do the same thing on Moonguard with a Horde toon also, but with a more grief-oriented focus. I feel like the Hordechads will be more fun to be around than the Moonguard players, but killing them and their local NPCs while they are too busy with their dick in their hand to stop me sounds like a real delight.Any advice for navigating places like Stormwind? City's too damn big and I can't figure out how to turn in quests when the NPCs are behind many walls.

Alright, finished campaign with a 100%. Im gonna rank the zones, Spiders>Deeps>Dorn=Hallofall>Spiders has great side content and I loved the side quests here. Goblins, city intrigue, the nurubians are actually cool. >Ringing Deeps has great dwarf stuff, I like the music, I enjoy the feel of the zone and it has the bronzebeard family that are all great. I even like the grandson and i was worried he was gonna be shit. Moira is the best female character in the expansion.>Dorn is the safest looking and feeling zone, but its still really pretty. It felt like a big loch modan and im okay with that. It had the best sidequest in the whole expansion which was the old earthern shutting down, it was great. Biggest complaint about Earthern is how insistent they are at having the females have beards, one or two once in a while is a good haha but man do they look better without it.>Hallowfall, while this is easily the most stunning looking location, the main story quests barely take place here, Anduin is a bitch through all of it and i think blizzard went way to hard on making every npc black. Like they added asian features to humans and not a single one is used, it's odd. Faerin is...her voice and character is actually fine. Shes a bit TOOOO perfect but after Wuk Lamat shes good. Her design is still awful, its too many things at once. Black, half elf, scars, bad hair cut, missing arm, lance with no mount, missing eye. She comes off as OC fan art you make as an 8 year old. Honestly a better hair style would do her wonders. We will see how the Raid goes, but so far the expansion is solid, i like my class (DK) and overall its much much much more enjoyable than DF.

Same thing with progression, they won't let you just no life for 18 hours a day in 1-2 weeks to get to the goal you have because that would mean lost subs and no engagement. Instead you're supposed to treat WoW like 2nd job, logging weekly to slowly progress. People who quit and join 1-2 months before end of each season are true Chads who avoid the burnout and crippling addiction.
