The music, characters, monsters, lore, animations, and core game mechanics are taken from the main games which can continue just fine without any players having ever played this. The original costumes will become dust and be memorialized in Serebii or Bulbapedia articles. No one is going to so oh yeah I really miss resetting for flinches or because a sync didn't crit or trainer move didn't refresh. Such deep gameplay like mashing thunder wave, stun spore and sing or mashing to get one move in after sync and resetting when you fuck up. I really liked when I had to roll a specific Master Fair to even have a chance at clearing this content. I loved playing through the same garbage fight 10 or 20 times if even that. I liked clicking words then having that dumb asshole immediately end "conversation" such deep character interactions I could never get from the main games.
