Just had a weird dream where I was debating a PCR glazer and one guy brought up the point that if instead of Radahn in Mohg's body, it was some hyper powerful mimic tear, it would be more mechanically interesting. That mimic tear could shape-shift into whatever it wants in the middle of the fight unrestricted. We can have anywhere from enemies we've fought, to characters we never fought like Ranni's original body, Godwyn while he was alive, even Queen Marika as she was genociding the Hornsent or Giants. We can also do what-if characters like a rot-less Malenia or Miquella imaging an adult body for himself. They can also mix and match and randomly sprout a mutated limb and do multiple at once. It'd almost be like a T-1000 mixed with a shape-shifter before adding what Miquella himself would contribute.

You kill her, she says nothing, and you move on. There's no more rot stuff for the rest of the DLC, the room remains an isolated island in the middle of an entirely distinct area, and no one mentions her.The fact that the enemies of this area are literally "Kindred of Rot but more HP and they're red now" almost pushes it into parody-tier. No one would defend this if you said this was going to be one of the four main DLC boss fight set-ups prior to release.

I do agree we should've gotten more lighting shit, namely a lightning bow or crossbow. I think ds2 gave fromsoft ptsd when it came to lightning.
