No, they removed it in Strive for both Faust and I-No. She can do it in +R.
She gets more height in +R by doing it, so you can actually just fly to the top of the screen in training mode if with infinite meter.
Faust had something similar with his j.2K, but he would do it for instant overheads rather than fuzzy timings, since j.2K isn't an overhead, it stops his momentum when you cancel the startup of it with the ~FD and then you would go into j.K for an actual overhead.

I don't think anyone has matchups quite as bad as A.B.A. Maybe some of the WWA characters did prior to WA being introduced, but at this point nobody else gets walled THIS hard or loses rounds to YRC/burst THIS consistently.
