She meets her end in a lightless cave, her womb pumped full of Pest eggs, her body used as a hatchery. Force-fed her heal flask until it runs out and her HP bar eventually hits zero after months of captivity, she finally dies, a stream of newborn larvae still worming their way out of her now gaping, stinking watery cunt.

The shattering happened, at most, 4-5 months before the start of the game. There’s nothing to suggest any longer, and Ranni’s ashes would not have survived being completely exposed to the elements at the top of a windswept tower for more than that. Miquella becomes a god about an hour before the tarnished shows up to kill him, as evidenced by him breaking his rune and lifting the charm as we progress.

I have somehow managed to explore every single corner of Shadow Keep first try. I even did the O Mother gesture in front of the statue. What's the point of Chapel of Anticipation? Why spawn us there? Are we supposed to just die? It's not like it's a tutorial, because that comes after. Why have it there at all? You can't even roll off to skip it, you have to run over to his arena, get him to spawn, and then roll off. But rolling off, getting killed by him, or dealing with him using your much weakener state still leads to the same outcome. You can also just come back anyway after exiting the tutorial cave if you know what you're doing, which leads to the question of, 'What is the reward for killing him in the beginning of the game?". Yes, you get his weapons after killing him, but *when* you do it is irrelevant, it seems.

Hey, /erg/. I have managed to solo all DLC and base game bosses solo except Malenia. I just can't figure out how to dodge Waterfowl Dance. Is there any advice anyone had for dodging it. At this point Consort Radahn seems easier than having to face this one attack. PCR had a whole bunch of bullshit attacks but nothing this hard hitting.I don't want to use cheese-y solutions like frost pots or bloodhound step. I would use a shield but tanking the attack for replenish her health by a lot.

Grace was extended back to the Tarnished to slay rune holding demi gods and repair the Elden Ring. Gideon says that Ranni discarding her Great Rune disqualifies her as a target, we later learn Miquella discarded his, which should disqualify him as a target because he essentially poses no threat compared to the backing of the Greater Will via whatever ending you opt for that serves as a catalyst to empower the Tarnished and make them Elden Lord, or whatever the hell Ranni does. Which is way more simple and efficient than how the DLC's writers tried presenting Miquella's "accension". Ranni seemingly accends to godhood without the use of the Gate of Divinity, which begs the question, what the fuck is even the point of the Gate of Divinity if you can just pump your soul into some weird 4 armed doll and become some Barbie moon god that is more remote and beyond the influence of the Greater Will and Outer Gods than Miquella could of ever dreamed of? Hell, keep Marika's story away from that Gate too, because her whole character arc is essentially about escaping the Greater Will's influence, why the hell didn't she think of Ranni's plan? Everything up to and including Messmer in the DLC is wonderful and interesting worldbuilding, but everything after that besides the NPC battle royale at the end fell off a god damn cliff in terms of quality and continuity.
Why did Miquella need Mohg kidnap him? Is there something peculiar about Mohg's boss arena that's necessary for his plans? Did he just feel like compelling Mohg into dicking his underdeveloped body? Why not compell Mohg into a trap where he dies if Mohg's body was necessary? That way the Haligtree still has Miquella's abandoned body feeding it AND all of Miquella's DLC plans can go off without a hitch before the player Tarnished even begins the game. Get someone to pull an old yeller on Radahn too if nobody else works instead of leaving him a dying, rot-destroyed but living cannibal.

Despite all the flaws, I still much prefer Elden ring to other games. There's something about the well defined combat animations and the overall art style that I don't find elsewhere. Attacks in other games look so spastic and weird to me
Any buffable weapon with innate bleed is massively improved with Bloodflame Blade. It has very low requirements, why don't more people use it?
