Soooo, what is the gap % wise between a base 3 star and UE40/50? Did my first Insane clears this last GA, D.Hina did D.Hina things so it's whatever, borrowed a Mika for phase 1 of yellow and finished phase 2 with my own students, using Maki and Yuzu who I have both at UE40 from raid shops. Then comes blue, borrow a NY Mutsuki, clear phase 1 at a pace just slightly worse than Mika in yellow, okay, phase 2 should be OK right? Holy Jesus it was not, my M.Aris and Wakamo were doing like no damage even if I heap on the buffs. Both were M/7/7/7 with T7 DMG gears, just stuck at only 3 stars. Took 2 more teams just throwing some underleveled bodies to finish off phase 2. Is the stat gap just that big? Same for tankiness actually, my Tsubaki is only to max level with T8 tanking gear and she was still dying even with Serina heals, I legit needed to have another red armor tank to split aggro. I know her armor type isn't ideal but I needed the CC. Should I have spent the eligma to get them all to at least 5 star? Pretty much the only non raid shop buyable 5 star+ I have right now are S.Hanako and D.Hina both at UE40, I only have like 2.7k eligma so wanted to hold onto it. What do you think, /bag/?

I would first like to start this by saying that I’m not saying we should not forgive Mika. I personally have a UE50 maxed out Mika on my account. I subscribe to the idea that we should let her grow and improve but when I was going through her bond stories I remembered why I thought the way the writing staff treated her betrayal was a little off.The core of my issues is that the writing staff try to portray Mika as a tragic figure who doesn’t deserve what happens to her while also being a key perpetrator in one of the worst events that we have seen in Kivotos. This created a disconnect in my head as each time they made a situation where you should pity her. I do feel bad but at the same time in the back of my head I always think “oh boohoo, I’m facing the consequences of doing a coup that would have probably resulted in a war that would destroy Kivotos”. Yes, the plan did spiral out of her control but a lot of people ignore that her original plan wasn't much better. As far as she knew, she was going to brutalize Seia so that she could take control as the host and go to war with Gehenna. A war that she knew would probably tear apart Kivotos as the prevention of this destruction is the entire premise of the treaty that she was trying to avoid. This is a terrible thing to do no matter how you cut it.

Why doesn't Wakamo protect Sensei more often? Wakamo is supposed to be one of the strongest students in kivitos and she's always stalking Sensei isn't she? Then why is she rarely helping Sensei out when he's in trouble. I'm currently reading through volume F and am just wondering what Wakamo is doing as Sensei is getting kidnapped, imprisonned, and almost dies. Would rate her a 5/10 stalker experience. Personally, I would keep Wakamo around as some kind of bodyguard/pet. Sensei lives in a world where people use miniguns as fasion accessories and can survive a nuke, while Sensei would trip over a bar of soap, break his neck, and die. Also I like to imagine having a leash around Wakamo and taking her out for a walk.

Blue Archive had incredible (read: not perfect) localization before it was even profitable, and now the game is among the Top 5 gachas every month, even during dry seasons. Global obviously doesn't make as much as JP, but it's still very successful relatively speaking. And I know that the lead localizer passed away and it seems he was the one who was keeping quality control on the entire product, but it's already been several months since his passing.Hire a native English speaker. They don't even need to understand Korean or Japanese.
