I got into high level BT3 a few years ago so I'm curious as to what the SZ meta will look like. Not to metafag, but any guesses on who's looking the strongest so far? The deities seem to have low HP (at least Beerus) and Broly's armor is nerfed, so it seems there may be more balancing changes than I'd expected.

The only way Uub might start being a character and mattering is if the series ever goes past end of Z but without Toriyama around anymore, I still can't believe he's gone by the way, I do not see that being possible, going past end of Z means that Goten, Trunks, Pan, Marron, Bra would start being at the forefront along with him where as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo would all be too old to be fucking around fighting anymore and we saw how that went with GT where the most loved parts of it are only Super Saiyan 4, Baby and Omega Shenron, nobody gives a fuck about everything else, not because Baby and Omega were good villains but because their arcs focused on Goku and Vegeta in Super saiyan 4 fighting them and then Gogeta super saiyan 4, that's GT's legacy for normal fans and Pan and Bra's sluttiness are it's legacy for horny non fans, you can't convince me fans of those characters aren't just passerby lolicons who popped a fat one when they were on screen and decided to watch the show

My want for a rewrite doesn't really stem from there though, it stems from a remark made by Goku Black during the cabin discussion as to why he opted out of immortality. The direction I thought it was going when I first saw it, which I thought would have been far more interesting, is that Goku Black was progressively starting to prioritise his base saiyan desires more than the practicalities of actually getting the Zero Mortal Plan done with no risk whatsoever, leading to him behaving more and more like the mortals he seeks to destroy rather than a god, putting his saiyan pursuits of combat and power more and more above his duty to carry out the zero mortal plan, or at least carry it out more recklessley than he would if he wasn't in a Saiyans body, leading to more of a rift between the two Zamasu's. There's quite a bit more to it within regards to intricacies and how I think certain things should be handled if that direction were taken, if you're up for it I'll detail it after I finish work, as there are also definitely some roadblocks by going in that direction too.

And "main story goes into the base, side stories get the DLC treatment" is a reasonable priority list. The game had 6 years of development as it is.
