Hi here's 3 matches of me being terrible, would appreciate any adviceI really struggle with defense in this game. I get that you want to block lows and are unsafe but I feel like being ducked in this game is so utterly risky since you're going to get blown up by mids that deal insane damage so often. I like the extra buttons on the m16+. I went into the firmware and remapped the extra 'up' key to select for quickly resetting practice mode. And there's a couple more buttons for other macros. It's also the largest in size which is good for me because I put it on my lap. Those small ones like p12 are ok if you put it on a desk like a keyboard.

Also for Jun specific stuff, she is one of the best characters in the game for escaping disadvantageous situations with buttons. You have a reversal (b1+3, a launching punch sabaki (f2+3), i14 ch launching lowcrushing low launcher (d3+4), high/low evading mid launcher (b3) and fast ch buttons like 4 and f1+2 to catch people not being tight with their frames. Landing these on opponents trying to pressure you will make them hesitate taking their turn even after they land their plus frame lows which makes defending a bit easier but of course you need to first land them and condition the opponent (and make sure they are conditioned, some people don't care what you do and just keep doing their own flowchart so pay attention to what they do instead of playing mindgames by yourself only).Some could say that learning defense through using these panic moves is a bad thing since they let you avoid pressure that other characters are forced to take. But if you plan on playing mostly Jun then it shouldn't really matter, as long as you understand that the panic moves have counterplay too and that you need real defense when your opponent knows that.Basically panic moves are best as a backup option for solid defense instead of being the primary defense method.
