I have a back up of the entire SD card from a broken 3DS from years ago. Is there any way I can extract saves in there (not backed up saves from homebrew, just saves off of games)? I found a bunch of SAV files deep inside the Nintendo 3DS folders. Are those it? Are 3DS saves encrypted or device specific in any way?

So basically you can charge whenever and for as long as you want, no need to wait for 0% or 100% specifically. Just don't leave it empty for long periods of time and if you don't use it, keep it somewhat charged (between half and full)
