DT obviously had massive rewrites.First half of MSQ; Zoraal Ja's rationale is that he wants to get people to appreciate peace by making war to assert Turali sovereignty. It's stupid for a lot of reasons, but the key parts of his personality here is that A) He sees a moral failing in his people that he wants to address, and B) He wants Tural to strengthen itself in the face of foreignersSecond half of MSQ: He turns into a full fledged psycho with daddy issues, and these issues are only presented to the player via text DIRECTLY before and DIRECTLY after the trial fight with Zoraal Ja, and then once more by talking to the Minstrel about him after the MSQ. We're talking three times total that this aspect of his personality came up; everything from the first half? Gone.The most damning bit of evidence, however, is Sareel Ja. Throughout the first half of the MSQ, scenes with him lead the player to believe he is going to basically play the role of the evil vizier. You have numerous scenes where the script implies he's got plans afoot, such as when he asks Zoraal Ja to spare Bakool Ja Ja. Then suddenly and for quite literally no reason at all, he is killed by Zoraal Ja in an unvoiced cutscene and never brought up again.There's a handful of other questionable plotlines that could indicate a rewrite, but an unvoiced cutscene where a character who received some significant screen and script time just gets killed out of the blue? There's red herrings, and there's straight up rewrites. This smelled like a rewrite, where they just ran out of time to clean up the script and decided a red herring is better than whatever it was they had before.
