This is a controversial take but I think Faker getting official content of some kind is inevitable. Right now Revie "doesn't feel like" doing anything with the character, and in this case doing something with the character consists entirely of telling other people what to do. There is apparently an endless supply of people who will work for Revie for free so whenever Revie musters up the will to do the wearisome labor of telling other people what to do, Faker will receive content, although it will be Green Mountain tier at best. The only thing that would stop this from happening is Revie being annoying enough to work with that even the usual suspects won't feel like doing it.

Actually ended up working on this a little anyway to take a small break from menu programming. Now the player's hitbox and all the collision sensors properly update when you curl into a ball. I think I've also figured out a solution for wall collision although it's not finished yet. Not much more to do for the basic physics so next time it's character specific stuff; after the spin dash, twin spin, etc, for Sonic, I'll probably add Amy. Amy will be new ground here since I don't have any Sonic Advance code to work off of, and it'll be my own attempt at accurately recreating the Advance moveset from scratch.
