There is an oppressive top tier right now and will be for all the foreseeable future which really fucks the shit out of the balance. On the other hand, almost every deck that gets printed these days is very playable and strong out of the gate and only gatekept by the top decks instead of just being broken and unplayable on release which used to happen to about 2/3rds of decks for most of the games lifespan. But on the OTHER OTHER HAND, if your deck isn't one of the decks that gets actively supported in the modern era, chances are you're totally unplayable because the side-effect of low tier decks being printed out stronger than ever is that the difference between low tier and untiered has become massive compared to the past.

I was expecting a link-1 on the levels of genex repaired but they probably didn't want to give dinos too many new toys.

What they needed was an effect which let them treat Jurracs which are destroyed by card effects as if they were destroyed by battle.
