First time playing it today on a new non-paypig/early access server, and here's my honest opinionoverall: it's funlikes: its free, the combat/movement is good, PVE is surprisingly fun, lots to upgrade, easy to travel around worlddislikes: class balance isn't perfect, not enough casters, great-sword niggers are overpowered, not enough open realms, cant complete the main story line with friends (quests are instanced) Verification not required.

Unfortunately Throne & Liberty is closer to Lost Ark on this front, so I think anyone who is looking for a real Korean grinder mmo in this game is going to be disappointed. But what I really like about T&L over Lost Ark right now is that it has a nice big world and its all utilized. Then again Lost Ark had that too for the first few months. But open world dungeons, weather that affects things shows more promise. Doing unas and UI porting directly to chaos and guardians while sitting in your stronghold and waiting for raid reset to do it all over 18 times... god, I never want to go back to that. Sure I prefer Lost Ark's combat and raids (to a degree, not 100%) more, but everything else so far about T&L just seems better. Graphics, especially animation, world feel and utilization, and so on. I'll miss having your own island/home, but that can always come later if people ask, and I bet they will.

I saw this on steam and downloaded it (blindly) then jumped in.My biggest immediate irk is that the game controls like shit, I don't know if it's lag but it just feels awful and difficult to walk in a straight line, there's so much jank to just interact with a character or object dragging the screen around. I press W to forward and the character just runs the opposite direction. The combat in the first 2 hours seems extremely basic and again, a bit awkward due to the constant disconnect. There needs to be some kind of way to keep the top nolife pvp guilds busy so they are forced to fight each other and leave the lowbie guilds who want more casual pvp in lower tier areas alone, otherwise every single time the nolife guilds will show up and bully everyone else out of the fun. Sort of like how black desert had tiers of node wars where the weaker more casual guilds would be in t1/t2 and the sweaty guilds in t3-t4 and so on. Guess the only way to do this would be to run the gvg events in different areas at the same time so it's not the big guilds coming in and steamrolling the noobs out since they have higher tier stuff to go for or whatever.
