Ok, I have my verdict on Nova (my wife)Free mod slot with the null star changePortals/Escape velocity the sameAMD is way more fun to use now. It's stronger when firing it into dense packs of enemies but worse anywhere else. Narrow minded cucks your range now on any duration maxxing build and the LoS nerf is brutal. You could probably make a meme build around it now which is a win in my book. Otherwise it's the subsume slot unless you are a loser who doesn't like portals.Slowva is great. You're way tankier.Speedva is kind of fucked. You're still probably going to need a second build since your energy demand is like 4x higher and casting speed is way, way more important. The faster spread in a shorter duration is really good for netracells, but really bad for survival. You're going to get RSI playing a speed bot in a farming party and keeping your enemy pulls consistent while solo is kind of sweaty since you have like 5 seconds to kill before you cast it again. Optimal casting does *seem* to rush out enemies a bit faster than the old speed but not by any amount that could be seen in resource or life support gain. Maybe you get above mission variance going longer than 20 minutes but idkOverall: Not a terrible rework. AMD was pure jank before and needed an update plus shield tanking is on the menu. To this day, I'm convinced the upper-crust Orokin "arm thing" started off merely as an accessory to Ballas' idiosyncratic sense of fashion in concept art; I think Orokin designs were originally meant to be a bit more diverse in color and physicality, and I'm a little disappointed that they haven't been, as I feel it would absolutely fit the way the race has been characterized.Not that I'm necessarily too upset about it, mind you; as far as oppressive posthuman sci-fantasy races go, I think the bioengineered blue skin and asymmetry looks pretty cool next to all the gold and ivory they live around.
