I just played 3 rounds of shrine "defense" for Komei.Holy shit this is by far the most boring game mode they ever came up with. I'm already sick of it and I played the pregnant elevator until I got 2 arcane energizers. There is nothing to defend, you just hunt enemies scattered across the map which never come in groups large enough to be satisfying to kill. I also can't see shit when it's dark outside, I'm using the minimap to target enemies because visibility is so fucking bad.I think I'll bring Vauban next time and just vortex half of the map.

This game is such a mess. I'm trying to find a warframe I enjoy playing but so many have so many hoops to jump through to get them with the dozens of different resources, rep grinds, and weird alt gameplay modes. After playing for several months my advice to new players is if you like the core gameplay then pray you get the 75% plat coupon then buy the most expensive plat bundle so you don't have to go through so much hassle of trying to farm everything.

Vauban is actually quite nice on shrine defence. Just throw bubbles on the huts and turrets and dash pads on the stairs in phase one, throw vortexes to vacuum up the beach phase two, and during phase three you just let the tryhards / on-call-crew handle it. Other than the fat polychaete, it's like the first mode ever made with Vauban in mind. Alas, I bought out the shop, so I guess it's back to maxing out my Jayber again.
