Probably not as unpopular as I think opinion: The Sumeru archon quest is better than the Fontaine archon quest.Coming from someone who has 6 accounts and who has completed the entire archon quest all the way through Fontaine on all 6 of them.The first 2 playthroughs Fontaine was better. Because the end of the act 5 in Fontaine hits like a goddamn truck. Its so interesting, surprising, its badass, it makes you love Furina, the cutscenes are impactful...its great.But Sumeru is a long deep cut. After the second time the Fontaine quest kind of loses its impact, its still amazing, but take the surprise aspect away from it, and it is just a solid story.Nahida crying and hugging herself/Rukkadavata at the end there....and then the immediate aftermath and her being confused....that never stops getting me. Not to mention, watching the A-teams plan come together is super fun each time.

[Unpopular Opinion] Is it just me or are both Mualani and Kinich feels clunky and weird to useDiscussionMualani feels awful to use when fighting multiple enemies that are not grouped up, you either just run circles around a single mob or try to chase everything down within the surfing time frame. Doing it outside of Natlan makes her feels so limited since you usually only get about 1-2 bites off. Not to mention the random misses from her sharkbite because of her long back flip animation.Kinich on the other hand is even more single target oriented, and him circling around the mobs gives me a headache. There has to be at least one grim region on the map and this is their last chance before we go underground and up to the sky. I don't know if I did get every single texts that weren't in the quest, but I tried reading everything that I came across while exploring, including the unnecessary certs that's in that tower. It's a fine quest still. Casts are likeable in the same fantasy story way they're aping themselves to do. But my main problem I have with it is the underwhelming final act. I just feel indifferent towards the 'villain' and the way the quest resolved itself.
