There was a content drought, but at least the game left us on a high note so we were in good spirits about what would come next. Now we have months to stew in the sour taste of DT, in a bunch of zones that I don't think anyone cares about, and best case scenario things won't really start getting better until 7.2 because the .1 patches for every expansion are always kinda lame because its just setup. Like, 7.1 might just be us remembering that we can effortlessly cure Levinsickness and little else beyond some plot setup for the patch plotline, whatever that turns out to be. The housing improvements are nice, but the housing improvement everyone cares about is probably still a year away. One can only hope that the FF11 raids are really good.
