I just finished all the cutscenes on 6/24 and holy fuck this is not what I expected at all. This game feels like it doesn't belong in the current era of videogames in the best way possible. This is something I would have played on the PS2 in 2005 and been obsessed with for months.

Don't even bother fighting the skeleton popes, not worth it. For the boss you REALLY don't want Faker since its weak to wind. I went with a strategy of Magic Knight (Hulk) there to spam taunt so the gunners didnt get their slash weakness attacked, Cleric (MC) just there to keep everyones HP up and Sniper Heismay + Gunner Junah. Junah was just there to supply the necessary partner for the synth skill, she would never take any actions. The strategy was basically just taunt with Hulk, gunner synth skill with Heismay and either heal with MC or toss out a Tarunda if no one needed healing at that particular moment. It took a lot of MP consumables and a lot of time but it eventually did work.

Maybe if you don't care about RPGs actually being challenging and properly utilizing their mechanics, you could say Persona has a better combat system, especially in comparison to P5R and P3R which are probably the only games you've played.

I only just started playing the demo, is it possible to beat the dragon on hard? I got all the best gear I could from the vendor, full stack of ice chunks, debuff his defense, but I just can't do enough damage to it before it kills me, its damage is too high to outheal unless I have 2 characters doing nothing but spamming healing items, and even then I will sometimes just randomly lose a character if it hits the same guy twice.

How much does each rank of Attack give, % wise? Cause you get passives like Heat Up which increase physical skills by 10%, and then Attack Lore which increases your rank of Attack by 1 at the start of battle.
