A lot of people have really overrated what 433 can do on 17. It's a firmly above average formation that will beat an average anything else reliably but at the same time even a good 433 will generally get beaten by a good 352, 442, 451 or even 361 that has a clear strategy behind it so in a way it's a midwit formation for 17 when used as a main formation or the whole export is built for 433. Wide play is generally better on 17 and formations with stronger midfields do this better and most 433s don't have good midfields or it's hard to get them right with only three and no margin for error. While 433 with Attacking FBs is strong on 17 there are better options with formations that have four or five midfielders to compliment them. The vast majority of teams in Akkolel ran different types of 433 (mostly 4-1-2-3) and all of them generally worked best against teams with weak or open defensive setups but against each other in most cases regardless of how good the export was it was unpredictable cointoss results. They also generally lost to better organised 442 or 352 exports that ran something more specific rather than general all-rounder ones which are inferior to vanilla 433s. /k/ look like the only team really all-in on a 433 in the fetus and I don't think it's really going to be that good in a group everyone else minus /biz/ is running something else or a stronger midfield setup, might even fail to finish top two. 442 on this ruleset is just the more sensible thing to run so unsurprisingly more teams are running it than anything else.

Unless /biz/ works as a 343 in which case they might be surprisingly good they're probably bottoming the group because of the defence setup and lack of CB subs.

If you're more autistic about it they can also be used for meme marking to counter gold deep SS or AMF players. The only thing /h/ got wrong there is running a medal Destroyer DMF is playing with fire on 17, especially if it does the meme PES 17 2' lunge tackle and red card move then that's a medal down for that game and the next. The other thing that stands out with /h/ is the C10 silver AMF that gives the whole team a solid medal 'spine' when running a 442 diamond, defensively that's sound although normally I'm not sure if I'd use C10 AMFs over Hole Players, but this looks like the right way to use a C10 one if /h/ are running a normal 442 diamond. I thought /n/'s one is better but it's more because their export is just pure 442 maximalism that could run a fully modular wide or narrow, flat or diamond 442 it's autism but could pay off if it's used right. Though /h/ is more balanced.
