a) You do hail maries in neutral like a retard to get a knockdown and begin your mix-up vortex

The problem is that even at being a nigger Ibuki clone she kinda sucks. She does have more options to skip neutral, but her mix-up game is weak. But anyway, that is not the point, my point is that bushinryu ape chars are for an specific type of player, and those players are a minority. She is as unpopular as Ibuki was in SFV because playing chars like that is for people with no friends, who pass too much time in the lab, and care little about neutral and more about mixing people up. And those guys aren't as numerous as you would like to believe

Now Chun, Chun is a fucking ape character that cares little about framedata and push you up to the corner with her oonga normals. Now that type of gameplay is popular. Ape chars are always popular.

On the one hand, everyone in this game is easy to play. My experience with Aki in season 1 was that she's harder than average, the average being easy. Her buttons felt unintuitive and most don't convert into anything useful. Her previews looked like she would have great anti-airs and anti-fireball tools but she has neither. I'm used to playing Juri who has good long range pokes that all cancel into easy combo routes and has great anti-airs and intuitive buttons.

my issue is that they're available from the start of the fucking round. from the second i put my hand on the other player he can go "LOL NO XD!!! the real problem is drive meter regenerates pretty fast in this game. If someone decides to just turtle and do nothing and let their drive build up, there's nothing you can do. When I show my opponent that I can anti air 100% of the time, they just stop doing anything and all their damage comes from mashing shit or drive rush from up close that erases my buttons.
