You can have a harem if you want.
But you specifically wanted to pursue the princess of the cold trade, the lady novator of house Orsellio, a craftworld eldar, and the second spinner of a death cult.

ALL of them are strictly monogamous and will not be with you unless it's exclusive and committed.

I've found that you can just barely outrun them -- I like to engage from as far away as possible with all 6 companions using ranged, or 5 with one sacrificial character if I have to, and firing for one round, then retreating for one round, firing, etc.

>>
>>499117876
Denuvo works very well, it has pretty much killed piracy of any protected release as almost no one can or wants to crack it these days and that's precisely why Denuvo has increased prices on its service which is subscription based so you have to pay a whole shitload. Previously, devs were already ditching Denuvo after the first couple of weeks since they didn't want to pay for a long term subscription, but now more devs are outright ditching Denuvo do to the costs. In terms of effectiveness, Denuvo offers historically unprecedented protection and if they lower their prices devs will jump right back on their drm ship.

Codex does use the word celibate, but never outright mentions if they take vows.
Honestly, considering that Adepta Sororitas is already dangerously reasonable as organization (only those that actually want to fight and can fight are accepted as battle sisters, everyone is sorted according to their preferences instead of being pressed into whatever role, non-combatant sisters are still taught how to fight, system of checks, second chances and loopholes and so on and so forth) compared to other branches of Imperium's administration, there's a possibility that a sister that wants to get married, provided she's earned some cred, will be just assigned as an instructor or on pilgrim protection or whatever as a compromise. With any resulting kids probably being shipped straight off to some Ecclesiarchy facility or something.

I'm not suggesting anything. Just saying that game being equipped with DRM might coax the game horny would-be pirates into actually buying the game because let's face it, the game is most coveted shortly after premiere. Additionally they'd be buying the game at full price, instead of -50% on Steam 4 years later, and that's only potentially since by that time a crack is bound to show up. I recall reading an article which suggested that maintaining DRM for this critical period (4-8 weeks) would be profitable for the devs.
>pirates become free publicity which pads it out
Not entirely true anymore. For years we have had Twitch streamers and Youtubers playing vidya on release, sometimes even earlier. They're taking care of publicity and PR no word of mouth could achieve.

>Abelard: useful tank in chapter 1, can still be useful for taunting and aoe defense buffs in chapter 2, falls off pretty hard after
>Idira: useful as a sniper and support psyker early on, later she should be respecced for full support psyker grand strategist
>Argenta: useful for picking off weak enemies in chapter 1, can become the primary dps later on
>Cassia: all around excellent from start to finish, most useful as a support with held in my gaze as a backup warp damage nuke
>Pasqal: mostly useless as he gets overshadowed by the psykers and officers, can be salvaged as a grand strategist that spams tactical knowledge and strategems
>Heinrix: support tank, not as survivable as Abelard early on, but is strictly superior from chapter 2 onwards
>Jae: support skill monkey, performs excellently as a grand strategist stacking fellowship and intelligence
>Yrliet: useful sniper assassin in chapter 2 and awareness skill monkey, but falls off hard once proper dps builds take over
>Ulfar: in theory he's a tanky dps who can cover carouse and athletics skill checks, but I never use him because he's 2x2 and has equipment restrictions which is annoying
>Marazhai: just totally useless, by the time you get him assassins are an obsolete class
>Kibellah: the melee version of Argenta

Most useful
>Tactician Cassia (jack of all trades)
>Grand Strategist Jae (strategem/turn spammer)
>Grand Strategist Idira (psyker support)
>Vanguard Heinrix (psyker support / tank)
The best dps is obviously a sanctic/pyro PC going either soldier or blade dancer into archmilitant. The psyker specific equipment and talents are just too good.

The game eventually devolves into a point where all you need is Cassia and a DPS and everyone else just passes turn to speed up combat.
>>
>>499142467
towards the end of act 2 I realized that the fights are repetitive and not particularly difficult: I use toybox to have everyone in my retinue, level the battlefield, and get to the next quest dialogues as soon as possible

I never liked the combat in owlcat games, but their writing is good

the best combat is definitely in act 1 and early act 2

Assassin works really well with act 4 items and bladedancer. Act 4 items you're popping openings for 40% hp or something if they didn't nerf it, blood oath gives you infinite movement, death from above gives you all the attacks you would need. The 10% the class starts with does it no justice.
There's no reason to bring idira if you aren't warpmaxxing and using momentum from proccing perils
Abelard is pretty useless completely outclassed by psyker in same spec
A pc or merc can do better than argenta, but if you're using a non dps pc and no mercs she's your go to
Cassia is the best character with having passive buffs and debuffs just from existing
>>
>>499143185
yes, after a while you see what the various types of enemies can offer, their weaknesses and at that point it becomes just a matter of repeating the usual moves for that type of enemy
there is also a good dose of prep time with the assignment of zones, buffs, debuffs, which in the long run becomes a chore

that would sanctic pyro going into executioner
executioner ulti with the upgrade that hits every enemy with triple dot + inflame wipes most enemies from the map instantly
soldier would be best but you cant become executioner unfortunately so you either cheat or play bladedancer for it
you can 1 round every fight in the game with that yes even the heal to full/invulnerability ones because it can delete them from above the health threshold
grand strategist officers break the game so the moment you hit lvl 16 every fight is a joke

run and gun lets you attack twice including psyker spells which is very nice for early stages before getting into executioner (need toybox to enable all archetypes)
psyker spell range and damage to distant targets can be increased with perception and ballistic skill from a couple of talents
i have 2 psykers one with the -1 ap cost on turn 1 from janus so i can activate psyker buffs for free on my entire party then use the remaining ap on officer stuff to buff the other psyker to produce infinite momentum with their 100+ resolve
>>
>turn 1

>turn goes back to the grand strategist
>grand strategist gives the second free turn to the dps (this time it's supposed to just be a charge attack)

Other anon I kinda felt pretty tired of every combat the game throws at you its quite often. Finally out of footfall so now I get to choose where I go but jesus so many trash fights up to then with the single memorable one being aurora. They could've reduced total fights and improved fight quality and the game would be better. It'd also be better if they just removed all extra turn mechanics
>>
>>499155325
In Kingmaker and Wotr you don't notice it so much with the real time combat but in roguetrader you notice how owlkek interprets the encounters as buffers between one important moment of the story and another
the "boss fights" don't even seem like such, the Chaos Space Marine at the end of act 1 died immediately while the one who gave me a hard time was the chaos adeptus sniper perched 800 cells further down the map
>>
>>499155325
You fight a lot of generic mooks on Footfall, and Chapter 2 generally. Then I thought there was a massive difficulty spike from Chapter 3 onwards, kinda similar to Wrath. Getting rid of extra turn shit would make the officer class useless. They could have made it so it merely advances someone's turn rather than giving them a free turn to make it not so OP, but then they kinda went the other direction in a lot of ways to buff the enemies by giving them extra turns/counterattacks so I dunno. I know I talk a lot of shit but gameplay wise I'm more of a retard. I try to ignore cheese and exploits and make the fights play out in a cool and engaging way using team comps I like. I don't think you'd be able to play this way on Unfair though, but Hard seems fine
>>
>>499156253
If you know about the sniper beforehand you know youre extra turning on snipers and pre equipping snipers on everyone even the warriors. Bladedancer ulti shits on aurora pretty hard so its ultimately about surviving his first turn and getting that momentum bar filled
>>
>>499158304
exactly, because nothing stimulates my already low desire for roleplay and immersion like metagaming all the encounters
no, I prefer to have the illusion of going into the field with my small army and then some, and kill the whole map before the enemy has a turn

Paizo was ecstatic when they announced that they had a partnership with Obsidian. They envisioned RPG adaptions of their Adventure Paths. Obsidian first did a mobile adaption of a card game. Of course, Obsidian was too incompetent and requested different artwork for all the cards, stating it was needed for mobile and they couldn't do it themselves. Also, the game was shit. Typical Obsidian. Paizo tried to sell it as a positive, but in the end, they cancelled the partnership and Owlcat got the Adventure Path RPGs.
The continued existence of Obsidian despite all their incompetence, while Troika bit the bullet after three games, still is proof that god doesn't exist.

So I'm going back to finally play that new Underrail DLC and I want to do a Dominating run so I can see what's on top of the Utility Tower.
Are there even enough resources to get through the beginning of the game to get to Junkyard? After turning on the outposts and getting my next quest to catch the cave hoppers and rescue Newton I have no chance against the psi beetles. I have less than a magazine of ammo for my Hawker, and no ammo at all for my Jaguar. I've always saved Newton on my other playthroughs because why not, and I was hoping I could just leave him to rot in this one but I guess saving him isn't an option.
Two turns of shooting a beetle with its brain carapace open deals less then a third of it's health in damage to it, and on the third turn I die. I had a grenade I scavenged out of some trash, but I had to use it to kill that mole cricket swarm which nearly killed me. I don't remember those in the caves when I last played, so I assume they were added in a rework?

New Vegas is what solidified their reputation as
>Bethesda...but Good!
amongst snobs, and they've been coasting on that ever since. It's weird because I remember the point where things really turned mean was with the release of Outer Worlds. All I heard was this chant in unison leading up to it that this was going to be some final humilation where Bethesda was going to get taken to RPG school or something, but then the game was a complete wet turd and everyone had to double down and be like
>There, you just got TOLD. Fuck Fallout 76
I really don't understand how Bethesda went from these critical and popular darlings to being an industry punching bag. I swear it didn't matter what Starfield was, by the time it was released the mob was so primed to hate it and rip it to shreds, nothing could save it
>>
>>499211057
>by the time it was released the mob was so primed to hate it and rip it to shreds, nothing could save it
what reality are you living in, there was a whole toxic positive scene around the game, ready to fucking pound on people for pointing out the menu was lame or whatever, reviewers like gman lives were literally paid to talk about how good it was and tried silencing criticism as just about the haters
it was only after a few weeks where even the defenders were starting to get bored of the copy paste dungeons that opinion turned and even then it wasn’t a hate mob, just everyone going “this is shit” collectively.
>>
>>499212645
>toxic positive scene
Can you explain what this means exactly?
>>
>>499212645
If the spongy enemies wasnt a clue to the game being bad. Play an actually satisfying gun game like rdr2 then go play starfield
>>
>>499213341
any reasonable doubts about the state of a product is just being a hater/doomer
also applies to Bethesda themselves being very scummy with their marketing, showing gameplay behind closed doors, objectively lying about gameplay details, and in general just obscuring what the gameplay loop would be like because they knew it was poorly designed
>>
>>499214394
I do see it as the polar opposite. Anyone who expressed appreciation for the game was hounded by haters or drowned in a sea of negativity, or as you said, just accused of being shills. Maybe I really am just a schizo, but I don't see what is worth being surprised about with Starfield. It's the same game template they've been making and remaking since Daggerfall. By now you should understand whether you like it or not. Not too surprising that it wound up being Skyrim in space. But everyone is reacting like Bethesda just killed their mothers
>>
>>499215392
They have made 0 improvement in over a decade it starts to show
>>
>>499215392
yeah you are living in another reality, the problem is that it wasn’t Skyrim in space, they literally lied about how planet generation works because they knew it wasn’t what people wanted
If you were to suggest pre-release that planet generation would work like how it actually does work, or that there would only be 10 dungeon templates, you would be called a hater because no way bethesda would do something like that
>>
>>499156689
it would be even more op if it advanced the actual turn because many of the most broken stuff only works on YOUR actual turn not the extra turns
>>
>>499215592
Starfield plays much better than Fallout 4, which is about a decades difference and shows a clear refinement in multiple areas. They're not reinventing the wheel, but the games are getting better. Fallout 4 was a refinement on 3 in every way you can measure. I thought the story in both was pretty bleh, but they were both very compelling to play mechanically
>>499216040
The problem from my point of view is that people's expectations are completely unhinged from reality. Sci-fi or space games or whatever seem to be especially subject to this level of scrutiny that nothing else gets where the entire galaxy needs to be artificially created within the video game and you can go anywhere and do anything. You totally ignore the main plot and become a space account and get a space wife. Like, what the fuck? It's a game where you pew pew at space pirates and pretend to be Neil Armstrong/Han Solo. It's not supposed to suck your dick and serve you baloney sandwiches on demand. My expectations for the game were met 100%. I remember the same thing happening with Cyberpunk 2020 at release. I expected First Person sci-fi Witcher and that's what I got, whereas people wanted some miracle game that couldn't possibly exist and so were ultimately disappointed
>>
>>499217858
The problem is that again Bethesda was being dishonest and was fostering a toxic positive environment, they explicitly refused to show how the gameplay loop worked or how planets were generated because they didn’t want to alienate people, maybe if they prepared for this and were actually honest about what the game was like people would be disappointed.
So yeah, I guess it’s the audience’s fault for falling for Todd’s BS again, but not in the way you think.
>>
>>499218971

>>
Expecting too much is a problem
>>
Dragon Age: Raid Shadow Legends for the modern audience
>>
>>499218971
How is it being dishonest to keep releasing the same thing over and over again?
Here is what I expected when I heard about Starfield:
Picture Skyrim in space, but the province is broken up into multiple sections divided across multiple planets. You can travel between areas through doors which transition to loading screens. And as soon as they showed the video clip of flying around in the ship like it was the Fallout 4 power armor in 3 dimensions, initiating conversations with other ships the same way as on foot, anyone would have enough information to understand what this was going to be. To expect an infinite number of planets with non repeating content on them, completely apart from the main quest content, is utterly unrealistic
>>
>>499220206
retard they literally lied about how it worked and they got their head liar Pete Hines to lie some more for then
they tried selling this fantasy of this dream game where you can go anywhere and do anything, if they just advertised it as what it is, a mediocre fps dungeon crawler with some light roleplay elements, people would be less mad
>>
>>499220501
I gotta play it again with the new DLC and really solidify my thoughts on it, but I would say it's much better than mediocre, but of course that's just subjective. Secondly, what you're describing is called marketing. These fucking blowhards get paid to try to sell you the moon, pun not intended. It's extremely naive not to be somewhat dubious of all marketing
>>
>>499221102
Well yeah that’s what I’m saying, to imply that they were lying with their marketing would make you a “hater”
There was no hate mob or whatever, and if there was one, it was only after release
>>
>>499221368
I mean, maybe it's just best to ignore the marketing entirely. Play every game when it's released and just make up your mind about it at that time. That's how I see it. I don't understand why people ride these emotional rollercoasters

No. In fact, most rogue traders act through intermediaries, and there was an RT in a novel whose solution to a revolt was just to pressgang a bunch of civilians and throw them at the enemy to soften them up. His own men would then sweep in to clean things up. The most infamous part of his plan was to charge juvies into minefields to set them off with their bodies. The RT himself never set foot on the battlefield. That isn't to say they aren't the best fighters on their ships (RTs and their retinues usually are, unlike most none-enhanced Imperial leadership), but when they do participate in combat, it's because things have gone turds up and most of the redshirts are dead.

rpg is a collection of rpg elements, therefore if something has a lot of rpg elements it's an rpg
>>
>other games have rpg-like elements so they are rpgs too
No, other games may have RPG elements, but that doesn't make them RPGs. The projecting tourist retard can't even read lol. You know what games with RPG elements don't actually have? Roleplaying - the ability to solve in-game problems, be they quests or encounters, in different ways based on your character building choices. The Shitcher doesn't have any actual roleplaying: none of the story choices you can make or alternative ways you can use to solve quests are tied to your character building choices like they are, for example, in New Vegas or Bloodlines - games that are actual representatives of the RPG genre that have action combat systems. Therefore, Shitcher is not a RPG and thus you've been proven to know nothing of the genre, retarded tourist.

Cowadoody has character prgression, but is not a RPG, because it has no roleplaying.

The Shitcher has character progression, but is not a RPG, because it has no roleplaying.

You know nothing of the genre, retarded tourist.
>>
You don't get to define what roleplaying is, ignorant tourist
>>
Good thing I don't need to define anything since Gygax has defined what roleplaying is before you were born, retarded tourist.

>"I do not, and I stress NOT, believe that the RPG is "storytelling" in the way that is usually presented. If there is a story to be told, it comes from the interaction of all participants, not merely the Game Master--who should not a "Storyteller" but a narrator and co-player! The players are not acting out roles designed for them by the GM, they are acting in character to create the story, and that tale is told as the game unfolds, and as directed by their actions, with random factors that even the GM can't predict possibly altering the course of things. Storytelling is what novelists, screenwriters, and playwrights do. It has little or no connection to the RPG, which differs in all aspects from the entertainment forms such authors create for."

This was the definition of roleplaying from one of the fathers of the genre before you kids were even born.

>"acting in character to create the story"
This is the key. This is what a RPG is. What does it mean to "act in-character"? It means to act in a certain way based on how you as a player define your character during the character generation and advancement process. Note that you cannot act in-character, if you don't define the character! So any game where you don't get to define your character yourself through various game systems is not a RPG by definition! Games that provide you with an already predefined character are also not RPGs by definition: "The players are not acting out roles designed for them by the GM."

What does it mean "create the story"? It means the outcomes of your interactions with the world, characters and the narrative are not set. This is accomplished through quests and encounters having multiple solutions that create different outcomes and thus create variation in the narrative, i.e. the "story."
>>
lil' bro is having a complete mental breakdown, sheeeeeeeeeesh
>>
>>499239565
Now, so far we have considered this expression by splitting it into two parts. Let's consider it as a whole: "acting in character to create the story." What does this mean? It means that the player gets to define their own character through the in-game systems and then have the opportunity to alter the game narrative by acting in character - solving quests and encounters in different ways based on how they've defined or "built" their character.

Since the Shitcher has no connection between role definition and and problem solution due to alternative quest solutions not being tied to said role definition (character building choices), it's not a RPG.

Cope, retarded tourist. You know nothing of the genre.

>>
>Disqualifies New Vegas as an RPG then because it tells the story of the Courier
No, it doesn't. No one is claiming that New Vegas is a RPG, because it has storytelling. New Vegas is a RPG, because your character building choices define the ways in which you can solve quests and encounters. In other words, New Vegas is a RPG, because it has actual roleplaying.

You got absolutely destroyed on every point, lil' zoomie tourist. You know nothing of the genre.
>>

>Storytelling has nothing to do with RPGS

Get bent you illiterate tourist

>"I do not, and I stress NOT, believe that the RPG is "storytelling" in the way that is usually presented. If there is a story to be told, it comes from the interaction of all participants, not merely the Game Master--who should not a "Storyteller" but a narrator and co-player! Storytelling is what novelists, screenwriters, and playwrights do. It has little or no connection to the RPG, which differs in all aspects from the entertainment forms such authors create for."

That is the full quote, lil' zoomie tourist. Gygax doesn't say that a RPG can't have a story, he says that the story should not be linear: "The players are not acting out roles designed for them by the GM." New Vegas has tory alterations based on your quest/encounter solutions which are in turn based on your character building choices. You "create the story" in New Vegas just like Gygax said you do in a RPG. Thus, New Vegas is a RPG and you were outed as a retarded tourist who can't even read.

>Read this sentence
Already did, illiterate lil' zoomie tourist. Gygax does not claim that a RPG can never have a story, he directly admits such a possibility: "If there is a story to be told..."

What Gygax says is that the story cannot be linear as the player must "create the story". Storytelling in this case refers to a linear, pre-scripted story. In a RPG, the story is not pre-scripted, it is created by the player based on their interactions with the game and their choices and those choices are tied to player character building choices which is the definition of roleplaying.

Therefore, New Vegas is a RPG and you know nothing of the genre. Cope.

>Veilguard will flop
To actually "flop" (as in, irreparably damage developer's reputation AND fail to make profit) in modern gayming landscape, there's quite a lot that needs to be true:
- Developer's reputation must already be severely damaged, to the point where their actual stocks start losing value.
- Marketing must be done spectacularly terrible
- Devs must shill their status as "legendary studio that made legendary games of cult classic legendary all time top tier franchise" very hard
- The game itself must be a sequel
- The game must have been in active development for a long time
- The game must have a lot of assets outsourced to a particularly shitty third-world contractors
Veilguard only fits into like two of these conditions, and only barely. Therefore, it will make profit.
Will this stil Youtube grifters from spamming dozens of videos about how Veilguard is a total flop that no one liked and how it's a terrible game full of DEI trash that literally drains your testosterone in real time as you play it? Nope. Will it prevent people from THINKING it was a total flop because "Well everyone agreed it's a flop!"? Nah.
But the game will be profitable, it will bring new people and Bioware will do the happy merchant gesture and plan for more Dragon Age games.

Not really no. Ugly characters, boring and ai-generated-looking setting, gameplay that looks like complete trash. At best I'll pirate it.
>>
>>499260496
No. I don't even know if i'll pirate it. I played origins and that was a lot of fun, but DA2 onwards has just felt so awkward to play I havent bothered. Once I heard that my choices weren't gonna matter either, I just decided it wasn't worth it.

also it seems like maybe it just isn't for me, in general? I don't mean the DEI / woke bullshit, I couldn't give a fuck about what people online get upset about I just mean that the games in general have drifted away from what I liked about origins which was still a "grounded" fantasy world. I guess maybe it's just the racism is the big outlier, but its' closer to the existence of all the various human issues still existed, so we were racist, backwards, pig-headed shitters just doing our best.

this is more effort than your post deserved. also the troll looks silly. it's got a huge case of scooby doo villain face.

Started a playthrough of Arcanum, it's been sitting in my library for ages. I'm around 10 hours in, so far going with Magick seem vastly preferable to Tech, vast array of spells and the only currency is fatigue. Not to mention from what I've seen being tech-aligned makes it so that healing spells fail very often on you ? I see nothing but negatives so far, are guns and grenades overwhelmingly OP after you spend enough points and train in them ?

The Sarkorians seems to be the most content-heavy, but I don't really care about the companion nor the class

You can kind of do that with some companions. In WOTR but it's not to the extent that KOTOR had it. Ember can become lawful and Arue can go evil for example.

Bros... I don't think I can go back after doing a chaos run.

Being dogmatic fucking sucked. You sacrifice everything living a life of constant hardship only for the emperor to eat your soul when you die to fuel the astronomicon.
Meanwhile chaos protects its own. Afraid of death? You're immortal. Curious? Have all the answers. Want revenge? Cut their head off and drink from that bastard's skull. Appreciate the finer things in life? Learn to know greater pleasure than you ever have before. And if some imperial rat manages to get a lucky shot off and kill you, well you'll just resurrect. Nothing is ever really dead when it comes to chaos.

>spongy enemies
I have yet to see an example where enemies described this way actually have too much HP and defenses. 'Bulletsponge' is exclusively a word used by people who don't know how to build characters fucking up the gameplay and then blaming the game. People who use this term are used to playing generic shooters where you just click on everyone's heads and they die, and when they can't do that, they go online and start whining about 'bulletsponge' enemies. Learn to minmax
>>
>>499318612
>None of the villains really do it
Well Connor did. Aside from him though I imagine it's just impractical since abominations and sylvans are better fodder for stronger mages like Uldred and Zathrian, and lower level mages aren't going to summon legions of anything
>>
>>499317060

At least Nyrissa was a good redemption romance, but that portrait didn't do her any favors.

>>499365219
>I mean is like a sort of Egyptian robot thing or something?
The most concise description would be
>Brain-scanned consciousness of an ancient alien put into an absurdly advanced living metal body courtesy of ancient star/soul-eating gods
Some of them are completely insane (ex. ones with Destroyer epithet - they are genocidal psychopaths who want to kill absolutely everything), others are just groggy from being woken up from millions of years long nap.
Necron Warriors are a bit a of different breed, since they were made from commoners and retain only the absolute bare minimum of sentience.
>>
>>499365597
How come the robots always wanna kill everyone? (although I guess these aren't pure machine consciousness though)
>>
>>499365876
Only the completely crazed Destroyers actually want to kill EVERYONE, and even other Necrons treat it as mental illness.
Sane Necrons don't plan on total genocide. They were rather callous and arrogant even before becoming metal, though, so whenever they wake up and see someone living on their Tomb World, or breaking into their tomb, to them it's a grave insult on multiple levels.
>>
We wuz ancient aliens and shieet

I asked Uralon what was going on with that book he's always carrying around and he said it was made of human flesh and inside was written the truth: that the Emperor is fake and gay
How can he be so incredibly cool?
>>
>>499367819
That's their main goal, actually. Outsiders don't usually see it or know about it because of several reasons.
Necrons almost never communicate with other races, for one.
Other thing is that whenever a Necron tomb is stirred, actual big wigs who decide what to do next are awoken last. Before that, it's all warriors, worker and combat constructs, scientists and sometimes low-ranking nobles (Lords).
Finally, when the entire royal court is up and running, the Overlord wakes up and starts planning a longer campaign or, if other Overlords are present, goes right back to bickering, politicking and scheming.
Necrons can't reproduce, so they aren't keen on just waging wars of conquest beyond what they deem to be their specific Dynasty's "core" territories.
So basically, average Necron game plan is
>wake up
>clean house
>find the rest of your boys and wake them up
>sit down and try to understand just what the ACTUAL FUCK is going on in the galaxy
>decide if you want to conquer, hunker down etc
90% of active (since not everyone is awake just yet) Necron Dynasties are on the stage 2 and 3 currently. 10% are fighting each other or trying to expand their holdings or being kinda crazy after their minds were damaged.

what would overloading the machine do? both options here seem to be "stop the machine." I also have no fucking idea what's cooking here, it's kinda cool. So the previous civilisation / race, engwithans? were big time soul cooks, and had access to a relay of soul juice? I don't know what they'd use it for, but I bet it wasn't fun. ideally, i'd like to free the souls. but turning it off sounds like it just lets the souls wander about, and overloading it destroys both the machine and the souls. If a bunch of anons were interested we could do a /crpg/ multiplayer playthrough of BG:EE or something
>>
>>499386571
We could do tranny's gape 3, but it'd take forever. Won't be enough time before Veilguard.
>>
>>499386571
I'd rather insert red hot nails beneath my fingernails than play a single minute of coop with you creeps
>>
>>499386571
I played the prologue of icewind dale with an anon, it was fun, I'd be up to doing something like that again.
>>
>>499387194
It's OK, you can just do it ironically.
>>
>>499382885
I knew to not have hopes for Veilguard but holy shit this looks terrible.

>pick a sub-optimal spell
>someone starts actually screaming and crying at you
No thanks I already played enough games with my dad growing up
>>
>>499387679
I think so, I've been a bit busy but yeah if I booted up icewind dale I think I could continue where we left off.
>>
>>499388638
That's good. Unless we somehow managed to get a second session going it's probably better than leaving it in eternal limbo. Our party comp was pretty good.
>>
>>499388417
Yeah the last thing you want to do on a table is criticize other players shit. If guy didn't do what you wanted you just have to suck it up. Especially if you're not at a point where you're discussing group strategy which probably won't happen without trust and then being thrown into the fire with an actually challenging encounter

I beat the sarkorian ghost by just grappling him to death but how the fuck are you supposed to beat that shit without cheesing it?
>>
>Demon into Legend Barbarian romancing Arueshalae
Playthrough (almost) done.
What's next?
>Lich Sorcerer romancing Cam (RIP)
>Trickster Mantis Assassin romancing Wenduag
>Angel Beeg Shield Fighter romancing Galfrey
>Incel Aeon Some Class I Haven't Decided Yet into Devil
>Azata Kineticist and uhhh I don't know about romance since I have a hard time imagining picking anyone but Arue for this but I just did her so not really in my interest right now
Which next? Bear in mind I don't think I can go through the game 6 times in a row, so I'll probably only do one more right now, two if I'm immensely curious.

a computer roleplaying game or a "classic" rpg?
it's not the later

I see you were not humiliated sufficiently last time.
>>
>Icewind Dale is more "classic" than Gothic, because more people played Icewind Dale a lie, but let it stand for the sake of the argument
>Morrowind is not a """classic""" RPG despite being released at roughly the same time as Gothic 2 and Icewind Dale and having been played by more people than Icewind Dale 2

I gave this retard brain damage last time, kek.

I hear good things about Aeon. I thought Inquisitor fits thematically, but I hear it's not the best class mechanically. Incel also fits.
And also Lich is a classic, and Cam sacrifice is pure kinography
So I'd say one of those two
>>
>>499386571
Good luck tard wrangling this into reality, but I'd be down if you can pirate multiplayer
>>
>>499416806
Yeah I was leaning towards Lich. I think I'll go for that, I feel like playing a complete and utter pragmatic bastard in search of personal power.
I won't be recruiting Ember though. I couldn't bring myself to do any route that upset her.
