>>499601463Crit is fine and one of the advantage of a weapon with soldier skeleton cards is that it is very generic, you can use it in a variety of locations with an appropriate elemental converter and it just works. Do keep in mind that skills can't crit though, so that sort of weapon will be less useful when spamming holy cross. Moving beyond that you want to start making more specialized weapons that will be stronger but will have limited application, for example if you wanted to stick with a crit auto-attack build then you could use the racial crit cards, they will be stronger than soldier skeleton cards but will only work against one race of enemy. Alternatively you could build more generic weapons with a combination of anti racial, anti element and anti size cards depending on where you intend to farm. I wouldn't stress at this point though, setting yourself a short term goal like making a crit spear for poking stuff is fine and long term you might decide to shift your build around and try out GC or another sader build.

>>499602721Even if you're playing crit it is probably worth taking holy cross since it gives you easy access to holy damage for dark or undead enemies, which you won't be able to endow your weapon with for autoattacks without going duo with a priest. That being said resets are very cheap, so you can take guard or reflect or whatever and if you decide to go farm in GH or something just reset your skills to HC for the outing. If you look up an enemy on ratemyserver it'll tell you the flee value you need to dodge 95% of their attacks (that's the dodge cap), ideally you'd be at that flee value for whatever it is you're fighting. The +20 from spear quicken and +10 from the pantie combo is pretty substantial, with agi investment it isn't likely that you'll need much more until you're a pally in very high level zones where enemies have substantial hit. And even then you'll likely be supplementing your flee with food more so than gear, the only substantial +flee cards/items you'll get are a whisper garment and maybe that pawprint hat.

Once you're 84+ you can join an Odin's party and try to get a blessing, or buy one at some point.
