>>499664153what the other anons said but i'll reiterate to upgrade gear, in this game basically everything you can pick up is to upgrade some weapon so you can safely upgrade even the shittiest gear. Plus, you can skip upgrade levels, it's 3 tiers so if you have the materials for level 2 but not level 1 (can happen) you can upgrade directly to 2. Also, materials can be forged (aka copied), there's a shop in the game that does that (also goes for stuff like quest items, materials for upgrades are perfect copies while quest items will usually have a different name and in some cases have different effects, ie npc asks for magic book and if you bring him a forged copy it won't work and maybe he'll hate you)

People shit on DD2 but so far it's the most fun I've ever had with an adventure game since DDDA and 90% of my playtime consists on me walking around the world map. Every other game would have me abusing the fast travel system, but here it's a genuine joy walking from one city to the next. I understand the backlash at the performance or the (yet again) cut content, but so far is the best AAA game I've played in years (which may not be saying much, in second thought). What I'm trying to say is that I get why fans of DD would be mad at 2, but why do normies hate it? Without any expectations, it's a fantastic game.Also, I'm not verifying no email, fuck off.

Yay finally got the pawn meltdown. Was a lot harder to actually trigger it than I thought it would be; took like 5 straight rests and not even counting the time she just woke up was like "I'm cured!"

After doing a few BK 1.0 and BK 2.0 EXMs, I noticed a few things, EXMs will DC after you complete them, you get rewards as normal (mostly), but you will get DC'd shortly after returning to WDT.And about the rewards, I did the BK 2.0 EXM like 6 times, and choose a different armor piece every time, but it turns out that the rewards are bugged, and you get ALL pieces every time you receive the rewards, if you were thinking of getting the Greedy armor set (or 7 of them), this might be a good time for it, before they fix this.

He's basically pulling the changes from the github for his server but he can't help but mess with the numbers that the devs put down, the ones they actually research to put an effort to be close to the original game. To put it into reference, BK Round 2 (Onset of Darkness: Restricted Stage) is supposed to give 4000JP. That's actually reasonable and would still require grinding it to max a skill from 1 to 10. Instead, he messes around with values he doesn't understand and changes the rewards to be a fraction of what they were. I respect that he got the ball rolling with an actual online server but he is seriously an active detriment to the game he's running.

Does it REALLY matter what vocations I do and exactly when? Can i max out multiple eventually? I'm just starting and Mystic Spearhand seems like the coolest to me other than the constant siren song of the Warrior's Guts build.
